Just to shoot a while in your logic: I'm mastery rank 7 Sion, but I don't play ranked. So if I played ranked and picked Sion, I'm technically playing him in ranked for the first time.

... i think the tone of the OP is a little harsh.. but the point is still the same.. if u cant play a champ... don't bring it into ranked.

you try a champ in bots.. then you try it in normal once you reach lvl 3 or 4 mastery.. then IF you feel comfortable with it try it in ranked.

any new champs i pick up i wont bring into a ranked game until i am at LEAST lvl 5 mastery with them

lvl 3 or 4 mastery for normals, if I don't feel like playing a champ ill first time them in normals...

stupid question how to you pick a champ in rank if you can only pick champs you play in rank? lets say a player is new to rank.... and has to pick a champ to play the game... any champ they choose would be a champ they never played in rank before... and lets say you are an adc main... and you play Ezreal Lucian as your two main rank champs but you been using normals and picked up Jhin and you played him enough to get him to lvl 5 mastery (25-35 games) and you pick him in rank cuz the reason you picked Jhin in normals is to get to learn the champ for rank.. then when you pick Jhin you never played him in rank so by your statement you cant ever play a new champ in rank at all

Cuz I want to demote without intentional feeding and getting banned. So I just pick champs I'm bad with to raise my odds of losing. Eventually I start winning with those champs and have to pick a new one though.
