Regarding the China "ban"

I've stuck with league through the tank meta, the ardent meta, the banner meta, akali, however, if you cave and cater your game to the Chinese and there demands, i will never touch this game again.

Have you been under a rock? Theyve been catering exclusively to the eastern audience since shortening game times became their number one goal. Net cafes are time-limited ya know.

Also... Stop whining about Akali. She isnt even half as strong as you people make her out to be.

Very true since most of her power budget is in mobility, sustain, and her shroud. If she isn't ahead her damage is very mediocre.

Even thats not true, as Akali's built in sustain is very low. Akali is, in general, a very fair enemy with low cooldowns as befits a diver-type assassin (of which akali most certainly is a part of, like rengar and nocturne). The only reason people call her "OMGBROKEN" is because they have CT blind hate syndrome and because they rally behind "TRUE STEALTH LEL" when... Literally walk away from the shroud or stay in the center of it so she has to walk out of the circle to proc her passive since her W is mostly a disengage/stall tool.

To be fair, the stealth is an issue, because she can freely dive with it and if you dont have aoe spells she's a pain to deter. I find Liss one of the only good champs to use against her The changes on the PBE are hopeful, because she's doing pretty bad right now but boasts an insane banrate. She needs buffs to other things in her kit, but power needs shifting or removing in other places.

If an Akali dives you with her shroud she was going to kill you anyway - when she dives shes flexing her advantage.
Regardless you want to move away from her shroud when under tower OR stay in the center if you can effectively duel Akali.

The only change Akali needs is for her re-stealth timer to be increased slightly under tower so that towers will target her AND fire once. Obscure is totally fine as a mechanic otherwise.

Which is what they are doing on the PBE (they gave back the duration since the counterplay exists). I do kinda wish some of her energy return stuff was more on her passive than her W.

you do realize the china ban has absolutely nothing to do with the game itself? its sanctioned for regulatory ethics purposes.

If that were the case we wouldnt be scared so much of the EU's article 13. When a country enacts laws or regulations, a developer of any kind will cater to the strictest country or not have their product there; What chinas new ethics laws want will mean league of legends as a whole will change to accommodate that or riot will pull out of china like they did belgium.
