Okay ... I can understand someone that just isn't good, but learn the map!

Poro king is essentially ARAM, except the spells are fixed, and the king (love the blind pick, BTW).

That said, and that so many people think ranked is the only mode that matters, they ought to either stay off the map, or learn the map. So many times you have people thinking they can dive alone ... or go jumping ahead of the rest of the group ... and tanks that just don't play as tanks.

It is a pain. Having a heimer that doesn't deal twice the damage as the rest of the team ... he isn't zoning with his turrets. Tanks that don't build tank (you can tell, they are heavy on offense, light on defense). Supports that could care less about doing their role, and want to carry. Collectively, I say to everyone that does that: Grow-up! League is NOT about the individual getting a good score, it is about the team winning. If you think it should be about you, go play a fps, not league ... because with H.A. and blind pick, the team that cooperates is the team that wins. Doesn't matter that the champion that has the most kills overall, or the highest damage to champions ... if your team loses, YOU lost.

I STRONGLY agree with this. I'd love for every mode to at least have the option of being ranked. I've wanted ARAM to be ranked for a while. It's mainly what I play... I'm so fed up with trolls and people who try to excuse their feeding, or just being bad at the game by saying "Who cares, this isn't ranked". And then there are those that afk or dc on purpose & the other things that have been mentioned in the other posts here. I play to win.

Poro king is a for fun mode. ^^ Have fun.

All modes are for fun. If you aren't a pro, you do this strickly for fun. But you do it as a team member, which means you do it for your team. If you don't ... go play something else. There is no individual mode in League.

Ranked is for fun mode. Only game that isn't is LCS ... and very few people will be professional players ... I haven't see a pro on yet. So, yes, Poro king is for fun mode ... just like ranked is for fun mode.

I totally agree with the OP reply. Nobody I know plays league for profit.

Exactly. If you play ranked, and you wouldn't want someone to play in a particular way during a team fight in ranked, then people that don't care about ranked are going to not like you play that way in Poro king (or any other mode/map). Treat every mode/map as if it were ranked.

Oh yeah. People that come into a team game and play as if it were an individual game. Can you imagine that in pairs tennis? Or worse, baseball ... an outfielder catches the ball and starts running to catch the runner at home. LOL

People that play league need to be playing for fun, but not to the detriment of anyone else on their team.

On a related note, how do you play Heimer on HA? Every time I roll him in ARAM, my regular turrets just melt to incidental AoE in teamfights and feel like they're not accomplishing much.

kinda off topic, but you put them in the weeds on the side, you place them so they aren't directly next to each other, but close enough to hit the next one. Also, if you use your stun on anyone close enough, that will not only stop them for a second, but it will have the turrets wailing on them. Good heimers play their turrets and protect their turrets as much as possible. You won't get a lot of kills, but you will do twice the damage of the rest of the team. Your role as heimer is to zone out the other team. They can't hide in the brush, they can't play that side of the lane. So everyone else can ks you like crazy, but that is okay ... you're heimer. I love playing heimer that way. Near sure win.

Kite. Whenever someone gets kited past a turret it's free damage.

Rockets are important too, especially with Luden's. A lot of people don't pay attention to minions in Poro King, but they can block a lot of skillshots (unfortunately including rockets, but that will also clear the wave). In particular, minions block poro toss, which only counts toward king summoning when it hits a champion. Turrets also block poro toss, which can be useful; even if your turrets are dying they may still be dying usefully. In regular ARAM, well, minions and turrets still block Nidalee spears, hooks, Charm, and lots of other important stuff.

Stun divers with grenade. Preferably while they're inside at least one of your turrets and/or have dived into several of your team.
