An Additional Layer of Matchmaking

I think a big problem with Bronze is that new players who have never played ranked before end up playing against and with Bronze players who have been playing for years. I dont know if your elo takes into account this factory but it should. Ive been playing for about a year and a half and was almost silver 3 last season but am bronze this season. Im starting to climb but i keep ending up with new players who arent as experience as some other people. It isnt that they are bad players they are inexperienced. If you take a bronze ADC who just got 30 and a bronze ADC who has been playing for 1 year, the player who has been playing 1 year will have the advantage no matter what rank you are. I think they should start taking that into account when making teams

I'm not actually convinced I'd want the bronze ADC who'd been playing it for a year over the bronze ADC who is freshly 30. If someone has spent a year in bronze, it's pretty clear their skill level is indeed bronze and they haven't been learning from their mistakes. A freshly 30 bronze on the other hand might have hope to adapt and play at a higher level, or it might even be the case that they do play at a higher level and just had some bad luck with placements and haven't had a chance to climb out.

I suspect your mmr does take into account number of games played however. Not in terms of the matchmaking itself, but have sensitive to change it is. e.g. Someone who'd played 20 ranked games and got to an mmr of X and then went on 10 game win spree would have a higher mmr than someone who'd played 2000 ranked games and got an mmr of X and then went on 10 game win spree.
