ZZRot Portal super nerf :T
I mean, is the nerf to the armor and magic resist necesary? You already nerfing the HP from 800 to 5 hits thats a huge over the top nerf. Is the nerf to the stats necessary as well D: ? This seems a bit too much.

Idk I think the hp nerf was called for, it was fucking ridiculous that you would HAVE to send someone with high damage to go clear the portal because if you didn't they could sit there and attack it 30 times before it got destroyed. I doubt that was the original intention and I think the health nerf corrects that nicely.
I didn't even hear about the stats nerf though, how hard are the stats getting hit?
-5 Armor -5 MR.
It's not a big hit, but it reduces it's cost efficiency enough to allow it to retain it's gold income from voidlings (if they take away the gold generation I would not have a reason to get it anymore).
Riot, why nerf the stats it gives you? No one has a problem with the armour and magic resist they have a problem with the stats of it's pushing power. Please, just nerf the aspects of the item that is op, not the balanced part of it. Zzrot is a pretty decent defensive item, keep it that way.
If you balanced things that way, then you would get a bunch of items that basically are all identical to each other. What they're doing instead is making ZZ'rot into an item focused on splitpushing. You should think about getting ZZ'rot because "it gives good stats and helps pushing and is overall good". You should only get it if you're thinking "I need the splitpushing more than I need the stats that another item can give me." This brings diversity into the game.
Otherwise, you'd just have a bunch of items that did the same thing, and choosing with item to get would be just "which item has higher numbers on it?"
I understand that logic, but even if they nerfed the scaling of it's pushing power that unique passive would still be viable. Through nerfing its base stats I'm just worried that it wouldn't be worthwhile to buy because the teamfight potential would fall off too hard. I was always under the understanding that Zzrot's problem was not that it was meant for split pushing, but more how effective it was at it's job.
I love how just like most other things that recieve nerfs, people say how underpowered and useless the item is. Riot buffs it the tiniest bit and suddenly WOAH POWER LEVEL OVER 9.000 SO OP. In reality the item was perfectly viable before.. but since it became an lcs/korean/popular strat it's suddenly becomes super broken. The same thing goes for sleeper op champions,
