How are Syndra and Azir?

Syndra and Azir were once my numbers one and two go-to midlaners. I played one of them almost every game. Then, to my horror, they were both obliterated by nerfs in back-to-back patches.

Since then, they've gotten some minor 'we know we fucked up' buffs from Riot, and I'm over the trauma of having my favorite characters gutted at pretty much the same time. I'm ready to give Syndra and Azir another try.

Should I expect them to be trash? Or should I be okay since I have lots of hours of practice on them?

Can't speak to the down votes, but I'll give you an up. :)

One thing I have noticed is that Riot does a pretty good job of keeping champions balanced, even if one may not be AS strong as they used to be. Most of the time I get reminded of this is when I haven't played a champion in a while and I randomly pick them up again. Nine times out of ten, I suck with them out of the gate, but after I get a handle on how the champion's kit effects their playstyle, I'm just as good (well, I use the term "good" lightly).

That said, I don't play Syndra. I really enjoy Azir. He obviously isn't as much of a powerhouse as he was before, but He is still strong in my opinion. Grab a mana source, some CDR, maybe some magic pen, and as much AP as possible, keep Azir away from danger, your sand soldiers on top of the enemy and mid to late game you should be a force.

if you can pull off 7 ball ultis on Syndra regularly shes awesome, just base damage is higher than some champs have it with scalings :D Also she deal well against popular leblanc and kata

LB and Kat are literally the only two champions I've never been able beat as Syndra.
