Ban Rate calculations need to be adjusted due to the new ban system.

Im not sure of the ban rates are collected independently by 3rd party sites or if the banrates are just taken from riot numbers that those 3rd party sites collect. But currently ban rates are inflated due to double bans. This means that a 100% ban rate isnt actually a 100% ban rate.

For an example. If Taliyah Has 150% ban rate this does not mean that she is banned in every game. It can mean that She is double banned in 3/4 of games and played in the 1/4 she isnt banned.

What needs to be done is ban rate calculations need to be done on Matches with a 2 box system. (Was Banned or Was not banned) Right now due to the bans being collected by the individual players, if a game double bans Taliyah That means for that game she had a 200% ban rate and it will inflate the ban rate numbers.

Its making ban rate arguments less valid due to the inaccuracy of the numbers often provided.

It means taliyah is playable in the 1/4th of the games, not she is played in 1/4th.

Read it again. It CAN mean that she is banned in 3/4 of games and played in the 1/4 she isnt banned. I didnt directly state that it means they were picked.

The numbers are individually gathered by websites. They get the game data from Riot (which includes the bans, who won, score, etc) but there's no aggregate data for that provided by Riot, they have to do that themselves. That's why different sites differ on pick/ban rates, it's based on the data they were able to pull down.

If all these 3rd party sites get their data from Riot, why doesn't Riot have an official stat site

And if all these 3rd party sites get their data from Riot, where is there different statistics based on who's site you go to?
