Tips on Annie please.

Hopefully this is the right board, I have been trying to broaden my champion pool and for mid lane I decided the champion i want to master is Annie and i kind of have skill order and such down but I need help knowing her power spikes and how I should position as her and when and how to initiate and how to team fight, so if anyone can give some tips especially on her power spikes that would be very helpful.

just prepare ur stun flash R q w enemy+ignite snowball from there at 6. also u can rush mobi boots if u want to roam, annie roams are pretty scary. you farm with your q anyway and since it s targeted spell better to max it,you might wanna keep ur stun up sometimes and last hit with ur auto attacks if u think u'll get ganked soon

K but what about her power spikes? What levels are they?

i don't think annie has a specific power spike.. as soon as she gets 6 i would say ? and item wise as soon as she gets ludens i think. she has insane damage all early mid late game so i don't know what to tell about her power spikes lol. i mostly build item 3285 item 1313 item 3116 item 3089 item 3135 and as last item either build item 3151 if i need damage or just get item 3102 if i need some defense. You could replace ludens or rylai with item 3157 depending on ur playstyle,i just dont like zhonyas personally i always forget to use it so that s why i dont have it in my build,it's a good item still. Btw if ur getting hard poked against someone like Lux Xerath you could rush item 3010 to survive laning but i personally dont complete it into rod most of the time.

I've found myself consistently losing lane against Orianna and Zed do u have any tips for that? I only have ~6 games in Annie so...

K but what about her power spikes? What levels are they?

Level 1 she is strong, level 2 also strong, she is ok 3-5, and huge spike at level 6.

Annie is very simplistic. Being able to last hit without abusing q is vital as there will be matchups you want to hold your stun to zone out your enemy. (Leblanc, fizz, etc)

Being able to know how much mana you need for full combo is key (200-300 ish depending on level)

And knowing when to start combo with W and Q. Being able to get your combo off without flash is key as well in lane as you can't rely on that even though it's freelo.

Also important is knowing just how much damage you can do and when ur combo can kill someone with ignite and without it. For example at level 4 (two points both w and q) you can kill someone who is 25% with your w q, ignite and an auto or two.

Post level 6 assuming you run scaling ap glyphs, flat ap quints, you can kill with just a dorans ring at 66% health and u have full conbo and ignite up.

Managing your stun is also important. Some people in low Elo don't click on you to see when stun will be up. You can keep your passive at 3 stacks. And if they walk up to you to trade you can pop e and full combo if u know it will net you kill or just w q and walk away for free damage if it won't

Also knowing what to build and when is important. Sometimes you need to build pseudo defensive with abyssal into rylais so you can trade and wiggle down lane opponent or zhonyas into rylais vs ad assassins like talon and zed.

Otherwise I personally feel almost all items are viable on her but the most efficient stayon her besides AP Is movement speed. Ludens Echo as the early game burst coupled with the movement speed is super efficient as the last key point to Annie I will make is this

ROAMING. Difference between a good Annie and a bad Annie. A good Annie knows how to manage her wave, bully her opponent and shove out lane when an opportunity to gank a side lane or enemy jungler arises. You bring massive power to ganks. Take creative paths and avoid wards if you can. If you can get kills without burning flash in side lane ganks do so. Snowballing as Annie is easy if you can kill your opponent or zone them out and push wave to tower.

BONUS TIP: a lot of people think I'm troll for doing it, but I go lich bane on Annie usually second of luxury or at some point if I can. The reason I do this is because it adds a bit of uumph to your full combo and generally ensures it's a kill rather than you relying on ignite being up. Not only that, Annie without ult is not that great, but with lich bane and super low cool down q you still deal damage. Even if q and w are on cool down, you pop e in the meantime to get the spell blade proc. lich bane also provides movement speed which as I said before is ideal on Annie as you roam a lot and are immobile.

You can also build cdr on Annie for Max amount of ults but I'm personally not a fan of CDR annie

Not many tips when you have an easily managed, point and click stun as your Q and then an aoe nuke stun as your ult. Annie is absurdly easy to play.

One tip is ur ults hitbox is actually really large it surprises people all the time. Also 2 doorans into rylias is a a great substitute for a roa. Really rylias is so great on her itll make tibbers aura slow her e will slow if someone aas you and obvi her Q and w will and the tankiness and ap are obvi great. Also you should be wooping zeds ass
