Unfixed bug (going on 5 years)

So there's a bug going around that literally stops any form of hotkeys from working except escape in game when you load in. You think 'ok, not a problem, ill just reconnect and it will fix it" Jokes on you, it doesnt fix it unless you RESTART YOUR ENTIRE PC. Note that people with non higher end pcs, this restart process can take WAY longer than if someone with a higher end pc gets the same bug.

So on top of you looking like you just dc/d a game and potentially having your team report you for 'dodging' you gotta waste precious startup time and early lane phase farm JUST to be able to actually play the game. Why is this still a thing? Ive seen this be said over and over for the past 4-5 years without a fix, the only response being 'oh it doesnt happen too often, dw about it' Im not just going to ignore something that actually does give the opposing laner a slight advantage because riots system said 'woops lul' at no fault of your own.

Id love it if we got a fix going, because its lost me a few early games, and i know im not the only one thats effected.
