Taric Rework Proposal
Passive Every Autoattack lowers Taric's Cooldowns. This passive has a CD.
[Context: This CD creates a way for Taric to have shorter CDs so he can be a partial threat. Also, he doesn't have the best sticking so he'll do better off with a CD on his passive so his CDs on his abilities can be a bit lower.]
Q Gem Barrier - Taric puts a shield on target ally or himself. Scaling off his max HP. After the shield duration runs out the target with the shield gains half of the leftover shield as HP.
[Context: This allows Taric to protect his allies much better while keeping his heal for sustain in lane in his kit.]
W Shield Earthquake - Taric slams down his shield creating a small field and damaging enemies who get hit by the small field as it is created. Any enemy in the field gets reduced Armor and Magic Resist and has a short duration when they step out of the field. As the enemy is in the field they get a small slow.
W Passive Gives allies Armor and Magic Resist.
E Gem Shield Bash - Taric shoots a Gem Shield at target, dealing damage and interrupts the target. (Shorter range than his current stun)
[Context: Due to the loss of some range on this ability, Taric will be able to be buffed with his move speed. Which would help his entire kit a lot.]
R Outrageous Smash! - Taric yells "OUTRAGEOUS!" and smacks his hammer on the ground. He creates a large field of Gems. Any ally in the field gets a buff for increased AD, AP, and AS. Any enemy the field hits as it is being created his damaged.
[Context: Taric's main problem was being a walking pile of auras. This makes him a Champion who relies on decisively placing his abilities to make them the most effective.]
What do you guys think?
To note, there was discussion in another spot about wanting his E to stun. I think it would be better to be an AOE push back. (just pushes the enemy and can't work with Yasuo's ult)
, and I love this, especially the Q. That's a great idea that is unique to your proposal, as far as I can tell, and it fits his concept perfectly. Love it.
