How to buy Elixirs when full build?

{quoted}

When full build, elixirs will automatically go into activation when purchased as long as you are not in a respawn timer and you have the gold for it and you are in the range of the shop. You can also buy the elixir again to refresh it. I hope this helped.

Okay thank you. I will try again when I get the chance.

You just buy them in the store.

I've tried buying an elixir when I had my full build (6 items) but I couldn't purchase it unless I sold an item.
