I rarely even see Jayce anymore. Sure he can annoy melee lane opponents, but so can ryze, gnar, teemo, etc. But his damage just falls off hard unless he is superfed with extremely high cooldowns in his e and q. If you wanted a poke comp why pick Jayce over Xerath, Ziggs, Azir, Varus, and others?
MisterHealYoGirl2 votesHe bullies tanks a lot better than he bullies juggernauts, so when those reworks showed up, he took a big hit to his lane dominance. His cooldowns aren't long, though; his Shock Blast is on a 4.8 second cooldown with the Essence Reaver/Infinity Edge/Lucidity Boots, which he builds anyway.
TekkenPlayer1 votesEven with 40% CDR his cooldowns are a bit harsh. And no one really plays tanks top anymore. His damage in team fights is quite inconsistent too.
