Akali worth picking up right now?
Is Akali worth picking up? Is she viable?
Is Akali worth picking up? Is she viable?
in my firm opinion no, because almost every assassin does her job better
In what ways?
she is far to easy to nuke before she nukes someone on the enemy team for starters
I feel like she's like
but not as good in almost every way.
that's how anyone who plays assaassins feels, diana can survive for she has solid natural tank stats with a shield while disruption with her E, meanwhile akali is a glass cannon who gets blown up before she can even prss R
Yup Diana's tankier has better poke has more CC an early game which is slightly less terrible and a better passive. Only downside about Diana is her mana issues but Akali has energy issues to.
to be fair a good akali player can sustain somewhat well in the right situation
She's worth it in good match ups, but most other assassins outclass her right now. Try taking her against one of the slower mages/mid lane ADCs, like
or someone to get the feel of her.
I played her ALOT before her major nerfs, really enjoyed her too. Ever since though I havnt played her once.
I played her a bit, then got lost in other champions, came back to her a bit ago and was in love again. She's still really fun and pretty strong in certain matchups. Just not all of them.
Ill give her a try, thanks
No problem.
"Akali Mark of the Assassin (Q) energy restore increased to 40 at all ranks from 20/25/30/35/40"
On the PBE right now. Not sure how much it helps her. I know it's no where near the nerf that took her from top tier to bottom tier.
I'd imagine she's not worthwhile right now, but the PBE buff indicates Riot is looking to restore her to viability. So if you like her, sure, pick her up. When she gets buffed you'll already be good on her.
You think they might even buff her a little more?
i find
to be fun and functional, but getting your mobility at 6 combined with having no CC means there'll always be better options, so it's not something i'd consider bringing to ranked. if you're trying to pick up a fun champ for normals i'd reccomend it, but not for a serious pick.
