Swain's Beatrice Q should not be blocked by Yasuo Windwall

However, I don't believe that Swain Q should be a blocked ability countered by windwall. I don't understand how you can spin the ability as a projectile...

The ability description says that Beatrice lands "on" a target area... And the attack style is visibility that of a tethered laser.

Am I alone? or does anybody agree with this statement?

Well I dont think Beatrice should fly right trough it though. How about stopping her like Oris Ball?

Yeah. His windwall should destroy Beatrice and permanently silence every ability she's used in.

Arguably it could be a projectile. It's not described in it's description as a laser just as a crippling attack. If it were a laser it would go through the wall like with Vel koz

I think it should stop Beatrice, but the laser should go through it.

Well, Windwall blocks a huge amount of absurd things. Healing projectiles are blocked, for instance (from Soraka landing her poke or Vlad/Swain R returning to him).

It's related to how the ability is coded, not really what it should do thematically.

As a swain main i know the answer to this and how to play around it.

When you press q as swain the bird FIRST TRAVELS to the target location, then stops and fires a laser which DOES NOT TRAVEL to the nearest target in its range.
Yasuo windwall blocks everything that TRAVELS and NOTHING that DOES NOT TRAVEL!

What does this mean then? It means the bird traveling to its target location WILL BE BLOCKED but the laser the bird fires once the bird has landed will NOT BE BLOCKED.

So to get your q to hit yasuo, all you have to do is aim to land the bird INFRONT of the windwall instead of past it.

Yes, Beatrice moves to target location, if she hits the wall she's negated. It's like Vel'Koz E, the visual shows him throwing void stuff even if the abilty itself works like a Brand W, so it can be blocked by the windwall.
