How do I climb (Out of Bronze)?

Hai. I've been playing the game for almost a year now. I'm just really hoping someone would help me by giving me tips on how to get out of bronze. No Smart-ass comments please, I'm just looking for some tips from higher elo players :). What champions are good to help me climb out of my elo? Every time I play ranked, I tend to have a lot of good games but bad games too. And it's not that I can't climb at all, but I'm climbing too slow to make a difference.

just wondering :)

I actually made a post when I made it to Silver this season. I wrote what I felt at the time got me out of Bronze. You can read it here.

I was thinking of writing another since I feel that I didn't capture the true essence of what I did and I've learned a couple new things since that time but it maybe helpful to you nonetheless.

I fell down from Silver to Bronze about 4 times, sometimes falling as low as Bronze 3 but I always made it back to Silver within a week, so I think by now I have a solid understanding of what is needed to climb out of Bronze . If you really want to know I could write a post about it that explains it a lot better than I did with the one I linked.

Granted, I'm not high elo but I do know first hand just how challenging it is to climb out of Bronze as someone who never did it before.

Depends on your role but mainly find One champion you are good at and keep playing it. As much as you can. Ideally something good but not super popular so you can get it reliably.

engage champs, if you go top or jungle if you can play them, go maplh top, ammumu jungle etc you can just ult into the enemies faces and they don't know how to deal with the engage and probably will not flash in time either combo it with your E you'll eliminate a squishy or 3 at once.

if on maplh you build AP tank with HP and armour/MR depending on the team your fighting, use ludacity boots and your ult will have a 60s CD timer, use it every minute to shove everything into their faces.

seriously its the easiest way to win - on the other hand you can go very fast pushers like Quinn, TF, Trundle (destroys turrets) and simply push and push just take turrets, screw the kills screw the dragon take turrets when you can as fast as you can, before you know it you'll have so much map presence the enemy cannot get out of base, atleast not very far.

by ignore, i mean if you not close and a fight starts do NOT try to help, push instead, take the enemy jungle even this denies the enemy jungle serious experience and you can really slow down the snowball, if you can get in and you know you can either turn the fight or end it out right or survive and get out yourself while saving 1/2 others, take it but play it smartly.

any champ works though it really does it depends on play style and what you want to do or what you want to achieve or what your best at, but as a rule anything with a team fight presence is best so annie, organa, ammumu, maplh, maokai etc etc all powerful in fights and can usually end them

Find a champion that clicks to you, you Enjoy playing it the most. You will automatically start playing it more n more n get better and better at it. And then know the lane you are playing in. Lane freeze, push, zoning the enemy out of Cs and exp, try learning this. Best thing to start out is to aim for 80cs @10 mins. It is pretty easy to achieve with some champs like irelia who have a reset of some sort. Go into a custom game and practice this. Next learn to farm under your tower, sometimes you are so behind that the enemy can kill you very fast. In that case if you are pushed to your tower you should aim at getting at least 80% of that cs especially the cannon minion it is worth approx 4 mage ones. Then try to keep track of enemy jungler. Play back when he's around or ask for counter ganks. These are pretty basic tips which I was given which dragged me out of bronze. Good luck on the rift. P.S. Get a duo partner and be on call with him during ur game...i remember in my silver promos I lost 2/5 first games, I was pretty tilted, then I called my duo partner to help me out. And we won the next 3.

This alone can net you an 80% win rate in Bronze 5 and Bronze 4. And It can carry you all the way to Bronze 2.

It all depends on what you play really. I started with ADC as my main and got tired of having supports that did nothing all lane phase that then called me worthless cause I couldn't 1v2 the Zyra Cait lane. After a while I started playing support, but that relies on your team doing well. After having plenty of games where you 16/2 ADC just can't stop getting caught, I stopped playing supports like Soraka or Braum and started playing ones like Brand or Annie. I still support, but my supports will generally chunk anyone in range enough that all my team needs to do is use something that does 200 damage.

The other thing to do is play a splitpusher or someone who's good at going 1v5. Playing Kayle top for example is good cause she can push lane really hard, her ult makes her hard to kill, and she has a heal so she doesn't need to worry about taking a bad trade in lane as much. Or Tryndamere is another good one for similar reasons. If you are really good at knowing when to go in, you can do really well with Yi or Shyvana cause of the damage they can output in a teamfight or they can just splitpush while their team dies.

People are writing pages about this topic, don't over complicate things. All you need to do is CS.

Jusr get 75-90 by 10 minutes and 170 by 20 minutes. Then team fight, and win the game.

Pick a champion and play optimally

Improve mechcanics and your reaction time such as csing gank or avoiding ganks

Easiest way is to research a champion you wanna main understand how other people use it in contrasting in how your using it And improve on that
