Skarner Revert? Ever a possibility?

I really miss of the Skarner. The new skarner that came around two years ago feels gimicky and just bad. Old skarner didnt care, he could solo carry a game if he got fed, similar to how irelia or darius can. From what i understand about Old Skarner's ludicrous high winrate was the permaslow his q could apply IN AN AOE.

To avoid the massive dip in play rate and overall quality of gameplay (i was a big skarner main back then but stopped when this rework came out, would probably still be playing him religiously if he never got reworked). I have strong beliefs that Skarner could be EASILY balanced by removing the Slow on his Q but keep the rest of his kit the same. I spent good hard earned money back then when i was 16 at Wendy's that I didnt have JUST to buy that Battlecast Alpha Skin. I was so hyped untilt his rework came out and now I feel like I NEED someone in order to make anything happen. I feel like potential is mostly restricted to towers. As a jungle champ, this concept is quite flawed as I must roam the entire map and shouldnt be left at a disadvantage when ganking.

If there is EVER ANY talk of a revert for skarner on the table, I would LOVE to know. I would STILL be playing him religiously all this time later if he was the exact same Duelist Skarner before WITHOUT the perma slow on the Q. You guys even said it yourself in a podcast, he ISNT a juggernaut like you intended. Even with his really low pickrate 112th our of 134 champs and summoners who play him dedicately together make up about a 49% winrate overall. If you master a champ, you should have about a 55% personal winrate. Making a champ a "objective jungler" is VERY linear as, truth be told, ALL JUNGLERS ARE OBJECTIVE! It was flawed Logic.

As I said 2 years ago about my beloved. I havent forgotten you completely these past two years. I'm still praying for my fun duelist back.

you mean the old skarner that perma slowed you if he touched you, and the one that somehow was 2-3 levels behind but spammed Q and W and sheen procs so much he kicked your ass anyway if he touched you?

THAT Skarner?

Yes, but remove the Slow on Q and Sheen has a 1.5 second cd between each auto now. No different from a lot of champs that stick really well now.

Easy fix to a complete revert with his old Q: Just make the slow on his Q have a cooldown on his targets, similar to Udyr's Bear Stance cooldown mechanic. Though he would still have the issue of his E being almost completely worthless, it could possibly be replaced by his current E with a slight nerf due to his Q having a slow. I do kind of agree that the old Skarner just felt straight up better to play. The spires are a kind of tedious and frustrating mechanic that was mostly unnecessary to his kit.

He's a "juggernaut" but does NO damage early on, and has NO preasure, and is in NO WAY shape or form a bully. Every other cahmpion in the game is strongest where ever they are. EVEN ILLAOI'S TENTACLES spawn at her current location and wait to return. Fromt his day on, I will see skarner back to full glory and no longer a mocked jungler. From now on, though silly and tedious, I will give daily reminder to riot, he needs a revert with slight changes to make him less opressive.

Old skarner had some pretty annoying things in his kit, namely the "perma-slow no escape sheen proc palooza" and don't forget the "let me dip into the jungle in order to reset my ult cd." The spire gimmick is annoying and completely ruins his ability to play any other role but jg, but maybe it's better this way.
