I feel like these games are out of my control whether I win or lose.

it can't be a coincidence that 3 games in a row whether I won or lost was not in my control. Allow me to elaborate:

Game 1: I'm literally gonna start dodging these games. Kha'zix v Rammus. Rather lose 3 lp than 20 because he picked Rammus. Literally ask anybody: Take a bronze IV rammus versus a plat IV Kha'zix, chances are if the Rammus player knows that Rammus counters Kha, he will win. 9 times out of 10. I bought sweepers early on. Literally every time I ganked, Rammus was there for the countergank. he just destroys me without any sort of counterplay. I went to gank top, he went top. I ganked mid, he goes mid. I gank bot, he's bot. I ward the river to try to take scuttle, he's right f**** there. I'm gonna dodge when I see Rammus since I already have to ban Udyr's annoying ass. Once that's locked in, if that Rammus has any sort of brain, I won't win the game.

Game 2: Eve v Shaco. Shaco didn't really give me any problems and I did pretty good. I camp mid succesfully and gank bot a bit too. Got one dragon, but Shaco solo'd two of them early on. Top lane inted. And I don't use that word lightly like a lot of people like to do. She literally was typing before the minions spawned "nocturne top is gonna f*** me up and get super fed and win unless you gank me." Proceeds to die as first blood before minions spawn to nocturne. Then she proceeds to feed him to the point where he solo carries.

Outside of my control of whether I won or lost. Riven insta-tilted and inted.

By the way, these were the first two ranked games in over a month since I kept losing and was practicing in norms a bit. I felt confident that I was back to normal, and then I get demoted to Gold II a goddamn week before the season ends.

Game 3 just now: Eve vs Elise.

I played this game perfectly. Camped bot and got a bunch of kills for Pyke and Kaisa. 5/1 with every dragon, got first turret top and proceeded to get one bot too. Veigar was 3/0, Bot was doing good with Kaisa at 0/1 and Pyke at 3/0. Elise got fed off of top and bot overextending mid game. Elise was the only fed person on their team. And we were so f****** ahead. ONE bad fight turned into baron, and Yasuo got 100% crit, and carried the rest of the game. That game I did everything I could and, successfully so.

What the actual f*** do I have to do to win a damn ranked game? I focus on macro play and execute on plays correctly, but we lose nonetheless. I don't get it. I want to get to platinum by the end of the season, but it doesn't look like anything happening is because of my misplays. I don't know how people expect to climb when you are only 10% of the game. (9 other players.)

Please somebody help me out here or at least tell me I'm not crazy.

so you mean in a team game where there 9 other players those players have a majority influence on the outcome of the game over the 10%/1 player/minority ?

Don’t play jungle if you want to climb. The role is an actual fucking joke right now.

Sounds like you don't focus top as much as bot and mid. My best friend is a top main and she tells me all the time how the jg presence makes or breaks the top lane fiesta these days. It's hard to play safe against a counter so my recommendation is that if your top laner gets counterpicked, you help them with pressure top so they don't get smashed. Bot lane should have the ability to play safer in that 2v2; top is where the insanity seems to happen these days. Glhf!

Every time you feel like you lost control, it's because your enemies took it.

1st game, Rammus both counter picked you, AND counter ganked you everytime, there's nothing brain dead about it, if he arrives to every gank you make/every scuttle, that means he is in control on the jungle and your rotations.

2nd game, Shaco was in control of drakes, if you camp mid and bot he should NEVER solo 2 early drakes, you decided to focus on ganks and he on objectives. Your toplaner losing hard is out of your control, but you can still mitigate the collateral damage by ganking him, noc has 1 single target fear, riven and you have multiple hard CC.

3rd game, losing Baron mid game is a throw, and one team's throw is another's comeback, something people seem to think is impossible to achieve when they are behind. Losing baron, as a Jungler, is also in your control, you just failed to control it.

Now, im not saying this to discourage you, you always improve from experience.

Learn from that Rammus, he knows how to counter gank well, maybe look into jungle pathing and track the enemy (wards). Learn from that shaco, objectives are often worth more than a kill in midlane, and dont leave struggeling lanes when they give you a heads up they arent gonna do well into their match ups. Learn from that Baron throw, a lost Baron when you're ahed shouldnt happen, it's an extreamly important objective that opens the window for your foes to catch up.

Jungle is a hard role, but also has the most control on the game flow early-mid game, try to learn from every good jungler who beats you, good luck.
