Vladimir, other than just not being near him, has zero counterplay. It's stupid. As someone who plays him, he's stupid OP. He heals most of the dmg you do, his w makes him able to dodge any and all CC (CC shouldnt be the only counterplay available), and ruins games with AoE dmg. Why does this champion even exist?
And don't bring up win rates, that isn't an accurate estimate of how good or bad a champion is.
every one has a different champion who they consider stupid so riot would never finish reworking champions because people will always find things to hate. also their are different teams at riot and i think that their balance right now on rework to new champ is pretty good if not leaning a little too much on the reworks side
actually vlad is some counterplay into him when he uses Q twice he gets a (crit kinda) damage on his third one it tells you his Q cooldown also as a bonus. as for counterpicking vlad play nasus 2 magic resist shards and 2nd wind/revitalize then you will outscaling/ignore his Q even empowered version is useless. (after spirit visage)
Vlad has way more counterplay than you think and as someone who also plays him. You can build build grievous wounds against him, stand back when he has his empowered Q active and engage on him when It's not. His W has a massive CD so baiting it out of him leaves him very vulnerable. His AoE also slows him and his R is is delayed damage and healing. Vlad has problems getting to targets and sticking to them without flash. He usually has to literally use everything in order to engage on anyone (unless the enemy is a moron that doesn't know the meaning of moving backwards).
