c'mon why would we ever want to nerf something that does 1/4 of your hp in true damage at lv 6? then tanks cant be assassins.
Riot doesn't seem to remember that Ignite does TRUE DAMAGE, meaning, it can do about the same damage as or at least close to lvl6 ulti level of damage post-resistance/mitigation as early as level 3-4.
Yeah Riot may argue that Ignite is A-Ok because it's DoT, but they also conveniently forget that it also has Grievous Wounds and halves your healing (-40% actually, but that's almost half). So you can't even really tough it out under most circumstances especially in early levels.
The current raw power of Ignite especially in its early-mid game is just seriously absurd.

It is really frustrating when the enemy laner takes ignite and I have to sit behind my minions or under tower and surrender the lane because I know that even 1 trade will get me killed because of Ignite.
A good nerf would be that ignite can't kill. It can still do damage but it does not do anymore if you are lower than say 1 hp.

Bigger problem why are we locked into flash even more than ignite and why can't we have blink boots/item as in original DOTA to free up a spot.
Changing ignite only allows tankie DPS to get away with even more garbage with their already abusive shielding/damage reduction to absorb the damage. God forbid when their shielding ability is down they get owned instead of blindly running in and butting heads with another champion and calling it then duuuuuur skill.

Ignite is only a problem when you actually get to the ignite range. Just be passive as hell. Yes, when they all in you, ignite is bonus damage/ grevious wounds which can be annoying, but there are counter measures. Build defense, take barrior, play safe, have a jungler camp you, etc. Yes, ignite is strong, but it isn't broken. That's like complaining how teleport lets the assassin have entire map presence from the fountain, or how ghost makes you so fast while on a low cd. Is cleanse underpowered bc not many players take it? Is ignite overpowered because many midlaners/supports take it?
