Fiddlesticks ulti cd

Just wondering why most champs with ultis that have to charge (like poppy) get a 30 sec cd if they get their ulti cancelled by cc but Fidd has to go through his full 120 something second cd if his ulti gets canceled while charging up?

Like seems kinda of unfair for him to not get a 30 sec cd when his ulti gets canceled during its super long charge up time the same way other champs do. Reminds me of the time Nid couldnt switch forms till level 6 even though elise and jayce could.

Counter-play is what I hear is the reason when ever its mentioned about Fiddlesticks. Characters like Nami/etc get it put on a reduced CD if its some how canceled from cc/death

Its only 1.5 cast time. The issue is using it in plain sight and not getting cc'ed immediately. Fiddles always relies on ganks or Surprise ults. Its why he falls off the later the game goes on because everyone is grouped and they generally are warding or being very careful.

Grab about 10% scaling cdr runs or a full flat CDR Blue runes and a Zhonya+Abyssall Scepter and try to have blue buff at all times.

Me personally I agree he should get a reduced CD for his Ult at least if it fails to go off. Everyone gets a free ward these days and a competent team can easily ward him out of the game.

Considering fiddle ult kills your entire team if he gets it off it shouldn't really be that lenient on him when people manage to counter it.

It's because that's the crux of Fiddle's gameplay identity. This dance between can he get a good ult off or will it be cancelled//avoided.

His ult has 5 ticks, same as Brand's. Brand's ult does less damage per hit than Fiddle's, isn't aoe, and has just under HALF the ap ratio. Fiddle's ult damage is DISGUSTING.
