They both have very similar kits and provide alot of dps. Tristana however seems better to me in my opinion, because she just feels smoother and she can provide dps and decent burst at the same time with her E stacked.
Maybe I'm just terrible at Vayne, (I am) but I don't see why people prefer vayne over trist. Trist can provide almost everything vayne can, better laning, reset jump, insec ulti, and a really good adc in general.

Dreadlocks1 votesBecause vayne gets in peoples head and it makes them play bad. Nah idk man I personally think tristana kind of sucks. From my perspective since she got reworked, shes just a tower pusher. I've had a few good Tristanas but idk i'm still iffy when i get one.
Vayne and Tristana are pretty different in terms of kits though. Vayne does %HP true damage... on every 3rd auto like what the fuck. That means she shreds tanks like crazy (yes better than tristana E which is all phys) She also has a long duration stun if she gets a wall pin. And she has an invisable dash on a low CD with R + Q. Essentially Tristana's kit revovles around pushing towers now, Placing E on top of turret pressing Q and going ham on the turret. With that being said when team fights hit, she can use the utility from her W and R to be relevant, And if shes lucky, she can stack a nice E bomb. But overall, I wouldn't say they have comparable kits..
