I've gotten adc quite a few times in fill. The best part is, the que times are literally 52 seconds on peak times and its fuckin awesome. Plus, I'm a godlike support that doesn't rage at his adc, takes PULLS for the adc. I am not one of those supports to sit under tower not use abilities and flame their adc like a fuckin beta. Supports these days LOSE the majority of my games because they on of these things:

Don't build a support item/don't know how to get gold on said support item
Don't use abilities EVER
Feed intentionally
Stand in the front of every team fight with 0 hp
Don't know when to back
Never use any activatable items (INCLUDING NOT WARDING EVEN THOUGH THEY BOUGHT THE ITEM FOR IT)
Don't ever stop typing.

While a portion of supports may be some of those, it's rarer in the dedicated support mains. When you actually enjoy the role and live for it, you tend to learn the ins and outs of it.

Just saying, I know what you mean by taking pulls for adc but don't do that as a Janna, Sona, Soraka or Nami because they are far from being Braum or Alistar.

Saying it how it is man! I see these threads like "omg don't be mean to support" or "appreciate support you are the carry" but all these support I play with suck and don't play for the team at ALL!

Yeah i switched to adc quite a few times and it was just horrible. You have a leona supp who hides BEHIND YOUR ADC (i was jhin) against ashe, thresh combo.... Like when they pull you nothing happens. Literally, nothing. I root the ashe, does the support engage? naw.

I tried that too after solo q got removed. I like playing support, but not 100% of the time. I wish that instead of fill, there were a random option.

Letting players specialize in a single role weakens the entire player base.

Yep, thats generally how Fill has worked since League's inception, old Queue was no different. You called fill, you're usually going to get support because for some reason no one likes doing it.

Because it's funny as fuck if you win the lane. Bad Manners the hell outta people. Don't troll play, but bad picking is fine. Last match I did that in I went Legendary with Tank Bug Khazix Support.

Well "tank" kha'zix support is pretty much

Eye of the equinox, Black cleaver, Maw of malmortius, armor item (SFC, DMP or RDO) duskblade.

It's more bruiser. I do play kha'zix support to chill and it works most of the time.

It's absolutely not a regular pick. It's a terrible choice of support that only works in games that have similar terrible choice or where the difference in skills between the teams is so blatant that you could win with a Sona jungle, Warwick ADC and top lane Eve.

2-5 mins long is horrible, you wait 5 mins, get into a 5 MIN BAN PHASE to get que dodged, to get into another 5 MIN WAIT QUE to get into another 5 MIN BAN PHASE to play a 60 MINUTE game? WTF?! I could knit an entire pair of mittens in that time and sell that shit on etsy. 80 min games are fuckin ridiculous, they need to shorten the time it takes people to ban or SOMETHING. then theere is load time to get INTO the game which I've taken many nice 3 minute shits waiting for.

5 mins is the worst, typically takes about 2-3 mins, another 5ish mins in select, and bam. Game. You can't just expect a 30 second wait time lol.

i tried that. i got reported because i was wiping when my bottom laner died out of anger that i wasnt doing anything other than standing in lane. then they remade the game. pfft with my connection i dont see the difference.

Karma can do just fine in mid, and even build same items as support (ap oriented) on rare occasions. Also Vel'koz and Lux. Not a problem for a fill main with a good champion pool.

Personally, I just watch a video, talk with friends or read while waiting in the queue.

Considering it ensures I will receive a role I like, I find the additional queue time is a worthwhile tradeoff.

support is really fucking easy to carry with as long as you know botlane mechanics. i have 65% win rate playing Nautilous bot you just 1v2 the carry. and if your team loses just build sightstone and then go for atoplane build it's cheap and you destroy everything

Good thing im already a mage mid/support main. Recently played my promo on a second account and went 10/0, all games a support, 9 as Brand, and the one game he was banned as Zyra.

Ive actually started to like support since ive been picking fill every game. Id say probably 1 in 10 games I get something that isnt support. Besides nothing is funner in bronze/silver than eating people with tahm.
