I don't that much of a problem with his damage. The issue with me is how hard he is to kill, even without building any resistances. He's a great duelist AND a great teamfighter, while most champions have to choose between those two things. Dude easily (and quickly) solos dragon and Rift Herald while rushing Cinderhulk. How many other champions can even do that, that aren't limited in other ways kit-wise?
He doesn't need a dash, he is fast as fuck. Also wtf is that shield. Half of his hp is protected by it. He can easily 1v2. Bullshit champion but at least not broken as aphelios so I am not that angry at Sett. I just hate how he looks. What happened to those scary and serious champions or those with some plot behind their looks. He is just an edgy kid with weird hairstyle and fashion sense. Like, he looks like a pop star before they retire because nobody wants to listen to their shit anymore.

the shield + true damage does need a nerf, just was in a game where i totally dunked on 
while playing as 
. i was 5/1 before 10mins into game sett only had a 
to his name, fast forward to 15mins into game to watch him run into a 1v3 against our adc, supp, and jg 
plenty of cc. he gets blasted down to id say about 20%hp pops his W puts all 3 into 1 shot range pulls chases them down pulls with E then boom easy triple with only a tiamat. the fact that he could do that while 1/5 and one item in a 3v1 is ridiculous. that was all he needed to end that game 13/6 and being unkillable no matter if it was 1v1 or 5v1 the W needs to have something done to it
playing against him is the most r%%%%%ed shit ever. you have to kill him, survive a tactical nuke, then kill him again with a shield the size of his entire fucking health bar while you have a sliver left.
good thing you can kite him because thats literally the only way to fight him, slowly peck at him over a long period of time. better not ever teamfight around the guy tho.
He seems fine as is right now, as a toplaner or jungler. Doesn't have infinite damage so he's not impossible to deal with even if he is very tanky.
Give it a month though and I bet people will start playing him as an assassin midlane. He'll sustain through ranged matchups with passive + dorans shield, walk back into lane at level 6 with a

These have... nothing to do with each other? Morde has no dashes AKA you can kite him - he's was very OP on his release AND a few patches ago. Cho'gath back in tank meta was OP. Hell, Apehlios doesnt have a dash, i guess he's not OP then, you can kite him.
Its not just that. Sett has to take x2 the damage he is going to dish out.
A lot of times when people complain about new champs its because they dont know how to play against them yet, however in the case of sett, his tank/damage/mobility ratio is a bit more than what most people would call balanced. Lets not forget that he also basically has garens passive, with vi's ult, and a barrier. I played sett for the first time and manage to carry my team barely even knowing what my abilities do. They need to nerf his Grit and his W, if those two were more balanced he would be still strong but not insanely so.

his q is a speed boost his e grabs someone and brings them to him his r grabs someone and takes him to them sooooo... i feel he has plenty of gap closer
Darius doesnt have a dash, yet Setts pull ability is FAR stronger as it stuns or sometimes slows.
You cannot trade with him as he gets a massive fuck you shield and true damage attack with an unreasonable window to escape from after being pulled into a group of minions.
A two hot percentage attack is also ridiculous on top of his autos being faster and more damaging than the rest of the cast that builds tri force.
As long as people don't realize hes basically a worse warwick top im all for it.

Lets all face it, Sett just needs some love, but tone down his w damage a little bit only because that exchange is a little too powerful for anyone to go up against.
