But in all seriousness RIOT you should be ashamed. Really forcing your greed at this point. Its really sad people are stupid enough to buy something as stupid as emotes with real money but you show your true $$$$ obsessed colors by adding them in the first place only available at your friendly price of 350 rp (which is roughly $4.35)

For a company that can sell out the staples center in under 30 minutes you guys are really disgusting stooping to such low quality levels. And i thought Chromas was a disgusting anticonsumer business model.

Skins are a cosmetic feature and there is already several thousand dollars worth if not 10+ thousand dollars worth of those on the game. Emotes are just a greedy cash grab.

Yeah I'm really disappointed in them this time. You pay 350+ RP (the 350 RP price right now is a sale) for an icon you can display in game. They cost more than icons, have no animations (they're gonna release legendary emotes, calling it now) and take basically no effort from Riot's side of things. They just pay an artist a few dollars to draw low effort emojis that will never actually be used non-ironically. This system just bolsters the toxicity in the community.

Totally agree, the pricing of these emotes is a joke. Don't understand why people are downvoting this

I am usually supportive of Riot's choices but this is cringe.

I will keep on muting emotes and act as if they do not exist [sg-miss-fortune]

By the way, the free emotes we get here are way better than the cash grab in-game. Anyone care to explain ? [sg-lux-2]

A friend of mine pointed out, at least Emotes can be used in-game. Icons are ALSO for sale for RP, and they are only visible for ten seconds at the load screen.

Still got no compulsion whatsoever to buy emotes though. If they were an IP Dump maybe but as is... naw.

I need some more information here op. Do you feel emotes are just a waste and no one will like them? Do you think they are cool and are disappointed that they are tied into RP? Why do you feel a company whos $ generation that comes primarily from optional cosmetic content is greedy, is it because they actively strive to make a profit? I myself am a bit pissed with greedy developers, but to me riots not one. Those assholes who decided to add micro transactions to shadows of war on top of DLC with a $60 price tag for the base game or 99 for DlC passes.... I'm a bit irritated with them. I want to wait for it to go on sale but ill probably cave if I get board and grab it then later i can just youtube DLC content once I'm done with the main story.
