New Champion(s) Speculation

So it's been awhile since our last roadmap, where we were teased for not one but TWO new champions coming at some point in the semi-near future. One was described as a "colorful mage," while the other was called a "prisoner" of some kind. Unfortunately, it's been complete static since then. With Worlds going on and preseason coming soon, I imagine that means we're going to hear something about at least one of them in the next week or two. However, a thought crossed my mind earlier...

What if these two champions are connected to each other, in a way similar to Xayah and Rakan?

Not necessarily lovers, or even that their kits interact uniquely, but in that they know each other in-lore and they're tied together by circumstances. Maybe the colorful mage broke the prisoner out and now they're outlaws? Or maybe it's like a "master-slave" relationship where the mage owns the prisoner? It would explain why we haven't heard anything about them in ages, if they're planning another dual release....Of course that could just be my mind going off the deep end. lol What do you guys think? What kind of kits do you think they'll have?
