Azir nerfs on PBE question

I don't have a PBE account so I can't test this in any way, but I was wondering about his soldier AA range nerf. Can someone check how it effects the AOE part of the soldier attacks? As I'm sure everyone knows his soldier AA's currently pierce past the range he can target enemies, letting him attack enemies he can't actually target, so I wanted to know if the AOE was also shortened to match the shorter range or if it stayed the same.

I just want some more clarification on the changes to know if it was just the targeting range that was nerfed or if the targeting range and AOE range were nerfed.
