If I pick fill in ranked, the least you can do is give me a ban

Everyone will be getting a ban soon enough. Not worth changing the positioning code so close to that time.

I've been saying that anyone that cues support or fill should be guaranteed a ban.

I can honestly say that I wouldn't want this. I don't like banning and I don't like first picking. If I had the option I would love to last pick and not have to ban every game if I could.

I say this to make it clear that not everyone wants to ban, or first pick, or last pick. Making all that dependent on the position you pick will shove players out of that role. I would stop queuing as support if I knew I would always have to be the 1st-3rd pick. I prefer rounding out my team comp to shore up weaknesses, and guaranteeing that I will always be one of the first 3 picks on my team counteracts that.

You can't make everyone happy, but at least you can make it fair to everyone, and your idea would not make the game more fun for many players. If anything I think it would cause more harm than good because most fill players I know fill for the purpose of wanting to support, and support players tend to play support because they like helping their team. Forcing people who want to help their team to never be able to round out their team comp sounds like a huge turn off to a large chunk of the fill playerbase.

That would be nice, it would also carry the implications of being one of the last 3 picks as well, which may or may not be a good thing. Sometimes you will pick a champion because theyre good into almost any comp like thresh or janna and then you'd be taking away one of the later spots for a solo lane that can really benefit from seeing who their opponent picks.

You chose to pick fill. If it's what you want to queue up as then there is nothing to compensate for.
