Leadership in Solo games? Is it possible?

As the title says I was thinking from my most recent ranked game I'm silver so people are still iffy on objectives.. But, I won my lane pretty hard and took my tower first. We were ahead and were winning team fights the problem was after a team fight no one wanted to listen to anyones pings or commands..

we had a 3 for 0 fight in mid lane we could of done a few things... take the inhib that was open or baron maybe a tower or two somewhere else.. The support and I called it out and everyone ran away and went to split push..

Can anyone be a leader in solo games? Or was this just people who don't want to improve by taking objectives. If you look at the history you'll see a lot of the times we were being picked off and same with them.. But, we were ahead and coudlve ended it alottt quicker if people did stuff.

The only thing you can do is work with your teammates even if its not the most optimal. There are times when a support feels like someone needs to split push so they go off in the side lane and split push. Just stick to what youre supposed to do. Adc? Be there for fights. Kill mid laner? Blow ppl up. Tank top? Dictate fights.
