Kindred Mid - Build path, runes and masteries NEED HELP

Hey there I was wondering if any players who like Kindred mid are there. I personally love her mid and is one of the most fun. Thing is I don't like to jungle much and would hate to jungle with her. But, I feel I'm going the wrong direction with her build. Would anyone mind putting their builds and reasons why?

You can ADC with her.

The build I use is just standard ad runes, 12/18/0 masteries (thunderlords). Then go Bork into BT into runnan's into merc or maw (eventually get both). Basically the entire point of the build is have so much lifesteal that almost no one can kill you. Start W, but max Q, E, W.

I like the thought. So basically build her as if I was playing kalista except don't put runanns second? I see a lot of people not mid laners mind you go into Sterakks,rapid cannon. How worth is those items? And would it be a good idea to go smite/flash and go mid? build warrior at the start and use the smite to help with the passive?

Smite, no.

No crit unless you are going bot ADC. Playing an ADC in mid is different then bot lane, as you don't need the crit. You don't really need the steraks because of all the lifesteal you'll have (also I don't like it because you don't have much damage from it, and mid kindred is burst)

ADC runes and masteries then basically build to attack speed and preference. Like if you're really fed you can go IE then rapid fire or if you're behind/even you can go Rapid fire into like Ghostblade or Essence then attack speed. IE or Essence is up to your preference.
