Feel like I have 0 control in my games, help?

I feel like in my games I have 0 control on the outcome of the game and IDK what to do about it - I consistently double my teammates vison scores, I ping, I roam, I attempt to get picks; yet no matter what I do, I cannot figure out how to climb out of low elo as a support main. I want to play my castor supports as thats where I'm comfertable - yet when my top goes 2/8 or my jg goes 2/12 it feels like theres nothing I can do to prevent the game from going anywhere. Any tips on how I can fix this? Any ideas of how to make more of an impact in my games? Any input at all is welcome - thank you.

Learning to identify roaming windows in bottom lane are a huge thing that doesnt happen lower elo. Especially if you can roam with your jungler. Your goal is to try to impact other lanes before they get to scores like 2/8 or 2/12.

It's because you play support, when you choose to play support you are subject to influence on how a game could go. This isn't a single player game where you can dictate where your units go. Those are real people you play with and if they aren't up to the skill you play at then that's just too bad sometimes you get bad players, it's not your fault unless you fed too, but you can't sit there and expect to be in control of every moment that happens in the game.

It's not how you play, it's what you play. The champion balance team is so bad at their job that the match is always decided at the champ select screen.

Practice laning or jungling for a while. Playing support is kind of like playing league on easy mode. You don't really need to farm or focus on lane manipulation. You just need to poke and protect adc. Play more lanes and jungle and you'll get a better understanding of when to roam and how to roam and all around better experience at the game.
