Q: Who Do Jungles Gank For?

A: Jungles gank primarly for their winning lanes while mostly ignoring their losing lanes. Why?

1: Turret plates (ganking a winning lane gets you extra turret plate gold) 2: Safe (Ganking a winning lane means that if you get counterganked you usually win the fight) 3: Gold. (Gold from killing an enemy who has repeated deaths doesn't fall off as significantly as it used too before the patched it) 4: First tower blood gold 5: Higher chance of securing a kill

Is it healthy for the game to have junglers primarily ganking their winning lanes while mostly ignoring their losing lanes? I don't think so. It's frustrating for BOTH teams. It's frustrating for the losing enemy lane to get repeatedly ganked. And it's also frustrating for your losing lane to be ignored when they need help.

I'm unsure how to fix this... but I do see it as a problem that needs to be addressed. Thanks for reading.

As a jungler, what, we can still gank this season? Show me your ways master.

I mean you really can't gank for a solo laner that is behind anymore. A fed solo laner easily shits on a jungler and most likely theyre just going to turn on you and pop you. A solo laner that is ahead in lane is going to be a minimum of two levels ahead from level 5-6 onwards and have way more gold.

Why should a losing lane be gankable? What would be the point of winning a lane if it's just as easy to gank as a losing one? That makes no sense.

No sane jungler ganks a losing lane. If the enemy jungler counterganks then you will get double killed.

Because the jungle totally wants to gank the lane that's 0/3 by the 2 minute mark...

The key isn't to not gank losing lanes, but to not gank lost lanes.

There's a difference - A lane that is losing is simply one that's losing priority. A lane that doesn't have enough priority or advantage at the moment, but is still very much capable of reacting or assisting if a jungler ganks them. In short, one that's under pressure. A jungler's main job is honestly to be the person who resets that pressure, and allows the lane to transition into a more favorable situation.

A lost lane is one that's grossly outclassed. One that, even with a jungle gank, can't or won't be able to harness enough power from having the pressure relieved to actually transition into a more favorable situation. One that's at a disadvantage that one or two ganks quite simply wouldn't be enough to help anyway. Or...you know, it can also be a lane feeding their asses off, but I don't think that needs explaining.

Ganking a lane without priority is not the same as ganking a lane of intentionally feeding plebs, basically. Sure...snowballing the winning lane is good, and it more or less forces the enemy to come up with a response to that. Giving that crucial gank to the lane who needs help (not to be confused with "needs babysat for 17 minutes til they flame you and ff anyway") is more risky, but also by far the strongest power play a jungler can offer...once they reach level 11 and the enemy is level 18 with full build...seriously, these jungle changes suck.

Who ever B*itches at them the most regardless of the lane or how behind or ahead they are

And that's how you lose because you let an opponent spiral out of control. Congrats, you're the reason your team lost.

Yeah. Those 5 things are pretty damn important. They're also going to be irrelevant when Darius walks up to you and is 7/0 because you spend more time helping already winning lanes than actually saving the losing ones before it was too late.

Q: Who Do Jungles Gank For?

Not Who but What.

Junglers gank for Coffee.

Not the commercial chain coffee who buys out all the other coffee shops/chains because they don't like competition (the chain bought out seattle's best and caribou).

Junglers like fresh ground coffee the kind that makes you want to leap at a target at least 1000 range away and spin and bite in fury till they are no more then refill the cup and go again.
