My rant about Varus.

First off i love his kit is somewhat decent and has character archetype is one of my more favorites.what i don't like is how he seems to be gated so much on mana compared to a lot of other adcs and it feels like his autos themselves don't seem very effective.If you compare them to say whose passive buffs her autos but at the same time even though varus Q gets more range than caits,caits is still more effective because unlike varus cait doesn't need to wait to channel his primary source of damage.i love varus because i can have some % health magic damage good at fighting tanks though he needs to ramp it up.also his % health damage is tied to him using spells making him gated quite a bit by mana unlike cait who can poke safely and faster now let's also compare him to adc's who also are known for long range say .now varus gains long range an AOE slow plus grievous wound and an AOE Root.these are good and all but what stops an assassin like from just jumping on him bypassing his root and slow with cut throat and just killing him?trist who gains high range is able to jump away or just ult him away and then deal good damage to the enemy team and be almost uncatchable.Now i take it trist has less CC since she only has the knock back but she has both the knock back and the jump letting her have extremely long auto range and have two safety nets to fall back on incase she gets caught out of position or an assassin is on the other team.now is long range but he is very Squishy and has only a slow on a decently long cooldown.But he still has a much longer Auto range then varus since he has that range steroid that gives him increased range and gives kog % health damage, kog also has a longer range ult letting stay out of the other teams range and kog scales SO hard into late game it's not even funny.while Varus has No escapes and No range buff he actually has normal range for an adc who is supposed to play like a sniper with that Q and apply blight to deal some bonus damage,and he also has a weak early game when i compare him to other adcs.i love varus but he is very disappointing to play it feels more like a gimmick to play him bot lane anymore i can't be the only one who feels like that.if any of you varus mains disagree please try to leave tips for me because its just so hard for me to make him work.

EDIT: i forgot about his passive honestly i can't even fathom why varus has that as his passive. it works in such niche scenarios that i can't even really call it useful i guess it helps me farm a little at least...except it last for so short a time span and the attack speed is so very unoticable.honestly im fine with varus kit as a whole maybe it needs a small change to put more power into other parts besides just his Q.but that passive.....[zombie-brand-facepalm]
