Okay so... Other than Garen and Pantheon, Idk how the fuck to kill this bitch. If I'm against Riven, and I'm not Garen or Panth... GG. Who else can shit on this bitch just as hard as she shits on everyone else?????? Level 3 comes and she just cuts me in half with one combo, then once her tiny cooldowns are over, she finishes the job. This is legit the ONLY champion I just can not beat. FUCK RIVEN
Play Darius. She has VERY long cooldowns at level 3 (why do you think people value CDR on her so much?) If she uses everything on you, FIGHT HER BACK because you will trade atleast evenly with a majority of champions against riven that early on.
This post is salty and inarticulate, and normally I'd downvote, but for real, fuck Riven. I can survive laning against her with ranged champions that have good CC, like Swain, but her early game is nuts, her AD scaling is nuts, and her mobility is nuts. She'll be fine as soon as one of those three things is nerfed into Hades, or more than one is nerfed.
Ikr, fuck riven. Only disgusting riven mains try to support her, and their opinions are meaningless.

I prefer countering Riven with Cho lately.
If she tries to go in with her dashes, w so she can't stun / dash again. Follow with a q as she no longer has the mobility to get out of its range.
Watch her run away in terror (or continue trying to move towards you at a snail's pace).
Repeat until you can flash in and eat her.

Riven's Sustain is absolutely trash. Get someone who's all sustain, build armor early then win late game
E.g. 
For everyone except renekton you have to play super duper safe when riven lvl 2/3 all in you. (the reason why everyone hates her)
Free farm if she roams, get armor, push tower, pressure and outscale her. they have scaling sustain (except renekton) so LW won't punish them that hard.
