Playing with silver team against gold?

I've checked my match history matchups and for some reason i'm getting teamed up with silver 2-1 while playing against gold 5-4 even though i am gold 5. why??????? :(

You seriously expect to high Golds on your team ? You're being matched right. They would be close in MMR. It's not like its a huge leap from S1 to G5.

Be glad. Been in both, Silver 1-2 are 5 times better players than Gold 4-5. Hell, I got 5 times worse since climbing into Gold.

Well S1 and S2 players are probably thirsty to get Gold so it makes sense that these players bring their best every game. G4s on the other hand probably just got there and think they've "made it", so they may not play as hard. They may even dick around to relax which results in them playing worse. The hunger is not there.

This of course is my own theory. When I was struggling in B5 and B4, I was mostly fuckin around. Not trolling, but playing champs and roles I don't play often. Trying builds I'm not sure would work. As soon as I climbed to B2, I played only my best in a bid to get close to Silver.
