Does Aatrox still revive himself dying in Ult form?

I am deciding to learn Aatrox and I wasn't keeping up with his buffs and nerfs. But nowhere in his ability descriptions talk about him reviving himself. So unless they took that out, im not sure how it works. Can somebody explain to me?

His ult is now just a damage and self healing steroid that is extended in duration as long as he gets kills while it's active. There is no longer any revive on the champion known as Aatrox whatsoever.

Aww that is so lame since he was the only champ that can self revive.

But ult resets over ult revives I guess.

Take heart. He wasn't nerfed in any other way, and in fact received a damage and healing buff to his ult. So he only got stronger and you can still build item 3026 or item 3053 at 3rd or 4th item and not gimp yourself.

Exactly. The revive existing was just gonna create a perpetual cycle of him being nerfed, gutted, mini reworked, buffed, then back to nerfed if they didn't remove it. It was one of the reasons why Old Aatrox had a pretty unhealthy playstyle, as he would dive in and kill your ass, draintanking while possessing a GA. If you didn't buy a grievous wounds item for old, he was bound to kill you if he wasn't behind.

I guess you're right. The revive mechanic was going to be as broken as Akali smoke turret diving.

Its what made balancing him in his previous form (pre-rework) a nightmare besides the healing.
