He gets tanky for building tank and he gets tanky for building AP (a bigger shield and heal). As long as items give him the base damage he needs to supplement his waveclear and stickiness, Tanko's never gonna stop, is he?

Dengeden2 votesPeople called Yi with 3 tank items (that he built last) a tank. Gimme a break. Edit: Also, I have no way to combine "bruiser" and "Ekko" the way you can with "Tanko/Takko".
Chamuel851 votesNo, his kit is pretty split between assassin and diver. Diver/tanky is a lot safer than assassin so he'll probably be a tanky diver for a long time to come. "Utility assassin" was an interesting choice imo.

And my point was exactly that even when he does go "utility assassin", his W and R will automatically make him tanky.
