Anyone else done with ranked ?

Wait, there is a difference between ranked and normals currently?

slowly raising hand Me, I guess. Normals are right now better experience because of 2 things:

1. Less tryhards=more friendly environment. Normals have that specific environment, where people don't care that much about game and are more eager to talk friendly with others, joke around in /all chat etc, which makes the game more enjoyable, but at the same time will still try to win because winning is fun too.
2. Near to no premades: because of dynamic queue boost shit, most premades moved to ranked because it's easier to climb that worthless rank this way. Premades just don't play normals because why they even should? They can just play ranked.

Because of those 2 reasons, I find normals to be much more enjoyable than rankeds. While the first one was always present, the second one was the other way around before DQ because the only way to play with friends besides ranked teams were... normals. I just don't know if I should be thankful that normals are more enjoyable because premades moved to DQ ranked, or angry because ranked means nothing more than shit.

League just doesn't have the same feel for me that it used to. Sure it's fun to play norms with friends but I only have like one friend that plays consistently. Been playing xcom 2 and total war warhammer, warhammer definitely having a lot of glaring issues but still being tons of fun.

Overwatch just doesn't look like it's worth the price. Either waiting on more charecters, game modes, or ranked system to justify spending the money on it. I've been looking for a game to de throne league but I haven't found anything. If they don't limit the swapping in overwatch in any way for their competitive mode then I definitely won't bother.

Halo wars 2 looks really fun and isn't coming out for a while but I'm not sure creative assembly has what it takes to make a successful 'make base and fight enemy' rts game, and halo wars 1 didn't seem to make any interesting new ideas with the formula. If they don't change the formula I don't think it's going to be very successful. All I think is needed to add life into these types of games is a way for the game not to end very stupidly early due to early game cheese. All the interesting decisions happen in the mid game in these types of rts games, so I don't see why they wouldn't capitalize on that, start your first base with turrets or something. It doesn't matter if cheese 'can' be stopped, these games don't reach very big audiences because casual players find this very frustrating and give up before they can get into it. Or at least it's one of the very big reasons why I think.

Other than that, there's paragon as well which I am excited for, although still sceptical if they can pull it off.

So yeah, overwatch, halo wars 2, and paragon are what I'm looking forward to. Not a very relevant post to the discussion but eh why not.

Been done for awhile. Struggling to find a reason to not uninstall. LCS is extremely boring as well. Only watch NV games now.

i'm still winning, this ranked season is aids though... never seen such toxic game play in plat 2 in previous seasons. First season i've seen individuals asking to ff at 10 mins or threatening to feed.

Been done for a while now, just hopefully waiting for dynamic queue to get fixed while refusing to be apart of that train wreck. Dark Souls 3 and E3 sales have kept me company since then. I just think its funny that they are still trying to salvage DQ with all these gimmicky updates that I think are meant make forget about it or make it feel slightly better when the damage is too severe at this point

For now, yes. I actually get tilted and end up playing terribly if something goes wrong. Dropped from silver 2 down to silver 4 almost 0 LP. Been playing ARAMS and normals and just been having fun. I just find I dont have fun in ranked. I also dont really care if people are legitimately trying new off meta stuff, as long as they are actually trying.

i play at a high silver skill lvl.. but this season all i did was climb to silver and call it quits... i play unranked now there isn't any point in try to get gold a it wont mean anything if i do. so i just stopped ranking at silver 5

Was Gold I last season, got to Gold V a few months ago, then quit Ranked. No fun in being Riot's whipping boy as a solo player in an unfair environment. Now I just Normal for Hextech loot.

I used to queue daily for ranked now i dont even open the client at all

I didn't bother this season as soon as I heard Solo Q was gone, then SOON, then cancelled.

I play ARAM because there is no difference between ranked and normals.

yep, done with ranked until it is actually ranked, and not a crappy version of normal draft pick. HEY RIOT WE WANT SOLO QUEUE. NO ONE WANTS DQ AND THOSE THAT DO ARE MENTALLY CHALLENGED.

Ranked isn't really fun when it's just people abusing the top 15 champions right now. There's a pretty wide gap in champion quality, currently.

Dynamic queue is retarded and I stopped playing on its release altogether. I will likely not be back now that I hear we're not getting solo queue at all now. Dumb decision on Riot's part. They don't understand the player base like I thought they did.

I started getting back into ranked today because I hate being in bronze, but I totally despise ranked. So far out of my 2 games tho everyone`s been pretty nice except for an Ekko in my second game, who was toxic from the very first words he said in champ select all the way to after game. I was talking to the other 3 about my 1. game and how I went 13/1/4 against LeBlanc, and he flamed me for it.

I don`t understand why people are toxic like this only in ranked.

Played ranked, twice, both with a defeat. Either or both I get,

(a) an ADC who moves faster than a support champion is capable of moving (b) a player first time playing a champion and ended up feeding.

But will be back on ranked games soon.

Ranked is supposed to be frustrating. You gotta cooperate with people you may not even know in order to earn lp. its supposed to be stressful.

I reached my season goal, which was Gold. So I'm taking some time in Normals to learn things that are outside of what I normally play.

Not done with ranked, but it has less urgency for me now. I still think ranked is the best aspect of this game and the part that matters most.

am about to go on a purpose toxicity rampage in ranked so i get banned and not have to play anymore.

sick and tired of playing against premades. but am also sick and tired of boosted players that go 1/12 and the laning phase isn't even over. or an ezreal that has 60 cs in 30 minutes.

i mean gold 4 isn't high elo but cmon bronze was the same shit when do people start improving at the game. i had a shaco that had the most kills on the team and did less damage than a blitzcrank

I just started after taking not playing ranked after S3.

This is the most infuriating stupid "competitive" play. The rankings are full of not just trash players but trolls. AFk, Feed, Pick LeB as ADC (because I saw a guy on youtube) you have a 50/49 chance of getting a crap team or a ok one and a 1/50 chance of getting a good one. You CANT climb because of this.

Riot needs to change the climbing system to be how well YOU did, not on if you team won. If my team is feeding and I end a loss at 10/2/4 then I did good and my team was the problem. I should go UP not down.

Im 32 games in and Im about done. I get into my rank series and cant move up because of afk/trolls or the other team has a smurf who is boosting.
