Are we sure Mage needed all of these buffs?

I absolutely like the functional changes to the characters ( BRAND IS SO AWSOME). But why all of these are straight buffs? I mean, shouldn't the functional change be balanced around the new effect of the spells?

Brand sounds redicolously broken to me, Malzahar feels oppressive as shit, Annie will be spammed everywhere and so on....

Don't worry, I hear under the new system mana regen is pretty much gone, so mages will have to B after about two spells. That should give you time to lifesteal back to full health.

Yes i read it. IT doesn't seems enough to me to counter balance all of the changes
