Wtf was this new patch even for? To Send everyone Into a Reconnecting Ghost game?

I am infuriated how a company can shut down servers specifically at a set time when ur playing. Ranked went down exactly at 1:30, but it couldnt even come back up until around 6:30 this morning. The servers got delayed, and for what?? Where are the patch notes?

Please tell me what this patch did? Just revert it and let everyone be happy with league as it was yesterday. Do something please. No one can play a real game right now.
