Is Fiora "GOOD"?

Sworeclipse··1 votes·2,602 views

So, I've got the PROJECT: Fiora skin shard blueprint from the disruption chest. I was not sure what to think of this because I only played fiora once in one for all. I went 4/4 and I don't think she's that bad lol. The only complaint I have is, I have NO IDEA what her ult does... I also want to know if she's good and if she's viable to play in the new meta.

She's okay, but incredibly difficult, and her nerfs have made her a lot more punishing to new players. She's very intricate and has tons of things that need to be learned prior to playing her.

That all being said, in the proper hands she's a beast. If you're willing to put in the time to learn her, and practice her, she's a strong pick.

ah ok, thanks! I'll think I will get her soon, maybe after I buy fizz :D

She is the best champ in the game, definitely not biased. She's completely worth your time. Look up "Aegis Fiora Guide" on Mobafire. Was made by my friend Aegis EnGarde, he's #3 Fiora in the world.

NICE!!, I'll definetly check out the guide, does she explain the ult because I still have absolutely NO idea how it works.

Quite fun to play. And God forbid you get fed, because Fiora snowballs HARD. Late game hypercarry, but half decent early as well

I play her very occasionally, but tend to play as a splitpushing duelist (who goes full Riven by TPing into fights to clean up kills... ;) )

ahahahah nice ;D, I'll buy fiora soon, maybe after fizz ;D. I also think that riot should put a sale on all the PROJECT: Overdrive champions... 4800IP is a bit much.

I'll help him with matchups in the guide, or I can just tell you anything you need

Do you have any strategies with her ult or any combos / laning phase combos? I'm still not very good with her and I need all the help I can get XD

Theres a small section of the guide that tells how to pop all the ult vitals quickly, if i remember correctly.

Q E Tiamat is a good small burst combo, throw in a W somewhere in there You can Q W animation cancel for a "slide parry" You can Ult during W animation

Sworeclipse1 votes

Ah ok, thanks! But... What does Tiamat mean?

It's an item Also, first item tips, get Tiamat if you wanna push the lane and dive/roam Get pick axe if you want damage but don't wanna shove, and get vamp scepter if you got longsword first back

I start dorans blade 97% of the time

I suggest Youtube for a guide. Shes good, but it takes practice... and a good build order.

yea, i'm right now searching every guide I can lol

I personally love Fiora, but she is quite reflex based. I would say she is quite middle-ground but has awesome anti-tank abilities because of the % max health true damage on her passive, she also has a decent amount of CC. Her ult lights up all of the enemies vital points and gives bonus movement speed, if you hit all 4 vitals or the target dies after hitting at least 1, not only will it do an ass-ton of damage but also give a big AoE heal. Also if you do play her i recommend to always start Hydra

Ok, I understand her ult and passive now XD. I played a game with her and got 10 kills :D. She is REALLY fun and I think I will practice her a lot. Thanks for telling me about the movement speed buff from her ult I had no idea o.O.

No probs :)

My parries are usually based on guessing, quite a bad habit, but my winrate is 57% despite almost 300k mastery points worth of games

Fiora is one of those bullshit champs like Jax, Leblanc and Ekko. Practically autowin(Freelo in local parlance) if you can play them decently.

Sworeclipse1 votes

XDD, I'll definetly practice her so I can destroy everyone :))))

Fiora is very weak if you do not use her kit very well. She is a high skill cap champion that requires proficiency and timing in the use of her skills.

She can get behind early and still be relevant later.

Her teamfight is terrible though. If you are a lower elo player, I would not recommend trying to use fiora to climb, but it doesn't hurt practicing her in normals until you get her down.

I'm practicing with her in solo queue. I'm doing fairly well with her (got 10 kills and carried my team but one guy was afk so we still lost) and I'm still practicing with her ult. I fully understand her passive and ult now and she is actually really good in team fights! I got a triple kill while soloing 1v5 then my teammates came and finished off the last two champions.

Well teamfights is her weakness because coordinated CC really shuts her down. This is the case with almost all the duelist champions. She was a frequent pick when she was insanely strong, but they really evened out her out with the nerfs she has received.

The champion after the rework was completely overpowered and they left her in that state for quite a long time.
