Is Fizz getting Reworked? [Assassin Update]

Is fizz getting reworked in the assassin update? If so, is it big or minor? I have 7.2k IP and I want fizz but I'm afraid he'll be nerfed / reworked.

Let me explain reworks to you.. Riot will take 10 toxic champs and rework them.

out of which all will be op.

Now, they will randomly pick 5 and gut them.

So its a 50/50

He is getting changed but as far as I know the changes are gonna be pretty minor ones to his passive and/or W. I think they will end up being a small "buff" if anything, not sure about that tho.

Typically any champion that gets touched as part of these reworks ends up buffed in some small or large way, and if they feel weaker, typically they end up getting buffed within a couple patches anyway.

If I heard correctly they're replacing his W entirely, as the current spell gives such easy and surprisingly high damage. No one knows what else will happen, it's mostly speculation at this point. Expect tweaks to his other spells as they're working in his new W and possibly changing his style a slight bit (not too much, just slight balance changes to support his new spell).

Katarina is the only AP champ being updated in the assassin update

She's part of the big 4, but it doesn't mean there won't be other smaller changes to champions. As they did with the Mage Update which had 6 champions with major changes but several others with some decent changes as well.
