Elise's Rappel

It there a reason why Elise's Rappel doesn't allow her to travel to allies or allied units? Her cooldown for the ability is much higher than Katarina's blink, which can target allied and enemies and do damage, and Jax's damaging dash and Lee Sin's Shield Dash (although those two have costs). It makes her escapes very conditional and sometimes impossible. I understand that it's a move that makes her untargetable and has larger range but the range could easily be decreased 50 units for allied use and kept the same for enemies, and Fizz's 3rd ability allows him to be untargetable, traverse 800 units, and still allows him to deal area damage at a maxed base cooldown of 8.

I mean it's such bs how they nerfed her rappel to not follow her target anymore ffs it's a single target spell that allows you to only go to the outer edge of the circle not on to them like before . Ohh gee why do you think you do not see her that often in ranked. But yes her and vlad have the same one sided weakness of there moves vices fizz who's move has little CD meanwhile Elise and vlad have like a 30 sec cd where is the fairness in that .

I don't think every champion necessarily needs to have an escape. Rappel being usable only on neutral and enemy units makes it a cooler spell for me - it's more impressive for making an escape and it being conditional makes it a lot less frustrating for enemies too.

At the end of the day Elise has two offensive gapclosers, a two second stun, and sustain. I don't think she needs an unconditional escape.
