Custom Game Mode - Conquest
This is just a small post for a custom gamemode that could be played on Crystal Scar if people would like. It's very simple, not very conplicated, and uses all the elements on the map, just in a different way.
Name: Conquest
Player#: 5 per team
Map: Crystal Scar (should be really fun on URF Mode)
Concept: Playing as a team while at the same time fighting as oneself with no interruption. Strategic concepts can be used to figure out what champions should challenge the other, and capturing points are gained through winning solo fights rather than normal means.
Champion Select: Draft, to allow bans. After all, who wants to face a
protector?
Rules: 1: At the start of the game, players cannot capture points. All five players in each team will each travel to a separate point on the map, therefore having two players of the opposite teams on each point. 2: At any time, players can fight each other 1v1 on these points. When one player dies, the opposing player, as the victor, can capture the point. They are to patrol the area of the point until a new or old challenger arrives, who will try and kill the patrolling player protecting the point. 3: If a challenger defeats the protector, they will gain he right to capture the point, therefore becoming the new protector of the point. 4: If both players die or the protector decides to leave the point, a player can make that point neutral. A protector that left the point cannot interrupt recapture it if the point is currently being made neutral at the time or if it is already neutral. The point will remain neutral until two opposing players fight for the point and one wins. 5: While a victor is capturing a point, they cannot be interrupted. (players waiting to challenge the victor must remain in the "KILL ON SIGHT" territory. Once the point is captured, a challenger may start attacking the victor. 6: While two players are fighting each other on a point, they are allowed to use the globally revealed area around the point and the small obscure sections of the map dedicated to each point to fight. The protector is allowed to stay under the protection of the point while fighting the challenger. 7: Protectors can farm the lanes, and have the jobs of making sure the lane minions do not capture the point. If minions neutralize the point, the protector cannot recapture the point and must wait for another player to duel with them in order for the point to be captured. 8: If a non-protector pushes a lane, they are automatically telling the protector that they are challenging them, and MUST duel with the protector. YES, walking away will get the player executed. 9: Players that break a rule will be EXECUTED. Details can be found below the GOLDEN RULE. 10: Challengers or Protector that leave a duel or run away from the area will be executed. 11: Non-Challengers/-Protectors are allowed to roam in the middle of the map and fight other Non-Challengers/-Protectors there. This area of the map is "KILL ON SIGHT" territory and can be used as a way to acquire gold before challenging, or stopping players before they can challenge their team's protector. 12: If a player is being attacked in the "KILL ON SIGHT" territory, and they leave the territory into the globally visible area of the map, they are not allowed to be further attacked unless they are under execution. If a player is killed on this area of this map when they've been in the globally visible area for more than a second, the killer will be placed under execution. 13: For obvious reasons, Soraka and Karthus should not be allowed unless the room leader states otherwise. 14: All Health and shrine buffs are allowed to all.
GOLDEN RULE: Outside players that are not apart the a fight are NOT allowed to interfere in ANY way
If a player is to shoots a global ult or uses another damaging or buff/debuff ability and "accidentally" hits another player on another point and damages or buffs/debuffs them, the player who shot that ult or used the ability would give up the point they are currently challenging or protecting, and will be executed by the player they are 1v1ing. If they are not currently challenging or protecting, they are to go to the enemy fountain and execute themselves. (YES, opposing players are allowed to kill the interfering player on the way or attack them before execution.
The winning team is decided by the existing point system, as the capturing of points is apart of the actual gamemode.
Rules may be added or removed if complication arise, and room leaders customize these rules as they desire.
