Knock-up Plant consideration: Make it not considered a "knockup" like Poppy's ult

Cz I don't see the point why Yasuo should have more power to use his ult on certain parts of the map.

I doubt they're going to code it like an actual knockup. They're probably coding it exactly like Satchel Charge. (Which Yasuo can't ult off of if you didn't know)

Satchel Charge behaves differently for Ziggs than for his enemies, knocking them up while not knocking him up. Do you think they'll keep that mechanic, counting it as friendly if an ally detonated it?

I thought Yasuo could ult Ziggs from his satchel charge. That it was one of those embarrassing hard counters.

Nope, Yasuo cannot ult off self CC (Zigg's satchel) and jumps.

I imagine the plants will the same: if enemy triggers plant then Yasuo cannot ult off any enemies knocked up by plant. If Yasuo (or teammate) triggers plant then he can ult any enemies knocked up.

they actually did some testing for Yasuo's ult being activate-able from enemy jumps while he was in testing (before he even hit PBE) and they deemed it as too unfair.

so basically, they had the idea already, but they've already decided against it :P

Right.

If a champion is knocked up by an ENEMY SATCHEL, they are considered "knocked up" for yasuo.

If an enemy Ziggs launches himself, it is NOT considered a Knock Up for Yasuo.

No he can. He ulted me off my own satchel charge the other day. Was kind of pissed at that. He can also ult people knocked up by their own allies created terrain. Cuz logic.

If Yasuo R spams he can get an ult off allies displacing eachother including themselves because half the time they are initially displaced instead of dashing.

I think satchel plant will work like Ziggs satchel for purposes of Yasuo ult, thus only benefitting Yasuo on certain cases.

In order for jungle Yas to be a thing Yas would have to be able to clear the jungle in some moderately efficient manner. He can't do that so jungle Yas won't ever be a thing.

He actually can jgl quite efficiently, with golem buff he stays rather healthy at moderate clear speed.

The thing is it won't work anymore because smitebuffs gettin removed.

He isn't viable right now because building jgl item makes him too squishy.

I think Poppy's ultimate is considered as a knock up however, her ult makes the target untargetable while in flight so she can't use it to as a prerequisite for a Yasuo ult or a setup for more chain CC, unless she is simply buying time for her team to get there.

Knock-backs, knock-ups, knock-asides, knock-downs, and pulls are all airborne effects. Yasuo can ult off of all airborne champions.

Most displacement spells are all his to ult off. Draven - Stand Aside Vayne - Condemn Thresh - Flay To name a few of the smaller ones.

He's giving only a few. He knows that there are loads that he is missing.

As I said, knock-backs, knock-asides, pulls, knock-ups, and knock-downs (the hardest to ult off of by far because the target is airborne for an instant).

Dude can ult off the fucking drags on Thresh's hook. Rule of thumb is that anything that forcibly moves an enemy aside from fear and charm is a potential ult for Yasuo.

The most obscure ones are the knockdowns. They make champions airborne for an instant. Theoretically, Yasuo can ult off of people who walk into Veigar's Event Horizon, who get hit my Malzahar's Nether Grasp, and who get stunned by Viktor's Gravity Field. (Not talking about the pull either--at the point of stunning the victim is also knocked down.)

Huh.... Actually that's not too bad an idea. It would help alleviate a little of the concern of it being used to screw over someone whether by a an enemy or a fellow teammate if you weren't targetable during the knockup.

Well, Poppy's is considered a knock up, it's just enemies hit are untargetable during it. It would be more like making it be considered a dash and not a knock-up.

Yasuo actually can ult off a Poppy Knockup at the very tail end of it. At least I've seen it happen.
