Calm down, it's Xypherous not CertainlyT.

He would have made the Mandrake ward do AoE True Damage for the duration that it screamed.

I actually like the idea of this ward a lot! If it's executed properly it shouldn't be game breaking and can add extra elements to the game. I'm all for things providing different strategies. The balance should come in how it works, how long it lasts, and cost.

I imagine something like this going off if a champ (or champs) come with in a certain radius of it, it pings the map and makes a specific noise and then it's gone. So you don't get the lasting vision of a sight ward, but you get that potentially life saving ping. As far as cost, if it's a one and done, 50g but it has maybe the same time limit as a stealth ward.

agreed mandrake ward was just what blind champs like lee sin needed to be even more OP

Nah if it were designed by CertainlyT I'd be worried.

"Stuns all enemies who come in range, and applies a debuff that deals 30% of their maximum health as magic damage. Dashes 800 units in a random direction every 1 second. Knocks up whatever it touches. Is invisible"

This is more of the trinity problem.

Power Creep ~ New champions get stronger and do more damage than older ones. (Riot has don't mostly great on this)

Mobility Creep ~ New/Reworked champions just have tons of mobility. (Riot is doing poorly on this)

and finally

Vision Creep ~ More and more vision items/skills/spells/ect... (Rather new issue)

The thing with Vision Creep is how it ties so hard into Mobility Creep. As more and more vision is on the map, players must have champions that can dash over walls and have quick gap closers to AVOID the massive amounts of vision.
