I think her ult is her only support like ability.

And I love utility Ults.

She could do that as a carry. As a support she'd offer nothing else and be really weak inbetween ults.

Her W is really good Zone at lvl 1 and so on in lane, Just use it and aa the enemy. they will either have to get back, or take bites from Wolf. She has a Slow that does true dmg... So yeh. i like her as a support aswell

As much as I like experimenting with unusual supports, I don't think Kindred has much potential as one. She offers almost no CC and doesn't really have any extra utility outside of her ultimate. There are definitely better choices if you're looking to try one of the ADCs in the support role. I've had some success with both Ashe and Kalista, but they both offer something outside of raw damage.

Junglers can bring utility to their team, but utility is not the only thing a support needs.

Look at her E cooldown. That's their only cc. Period.

Their W and Q requires a lot of mana if spammed in lane too much, and will take minions. Their passive is reliant on camps early and takedowns, and unless you snowball in your kill lane you're not guaranteed to make use of it, not to mention the global pressure of the passive is gone for the most part.

And let's not even get into the fact that support items aren't useful on Kindred. No, BORK is not a support item.

Her ult is useful, but it's more useful on the jungler who's going to roam more than a support.

The 'main' reason Kindred 'works' as a support is that they're basically the only ADC in the game who don't need to build damage to deal damage late, and neither do they need to get the kills on their targets to gain stacks. The idea isn't to bring CC to the team but rather an alternate carry late game to help out. I've found that they work wonders with champions like Ashe and Caitlyn who are safer ADCs under turret, where they can roam out to gain jungle stacks after backing and then TP-ing back to lane, or TP-ing to a target after the enemy jg has died or another such opportunity arises. (And you can throw some wards around too!)

As far as ganks go, her whole kit provides decent safety, and inversely the psychological pressure you can put on mid or top lane that they'd suddenly go 1v3 is amazing, and of course Kindred works best on high CC teams. Last game in teambuilder i had a Vi jungle, Annie mid, a Wukong top and Ashe ADC so we didn't exactly feel crippled on CC or engage/disengage potential.

I've been playing them 'support' with summoner 12 and summoner 3 , building item 3069 , item 2049 , item 1306 , item 3153 , and a mix of item 3071 ,item 3022 or item 3085. She's pretty fast with these in her build so roaming doesn't feel as bad.

Of course it's not something i'd try in ranked, but it's fun enough for normal, and if you have a team that gets what you're doing, it's pretty badass to play.

The problem with supporting with non-traditional champions such is that of it doesn't work, and you can't ham your opponents, then you're done. If you're the guy who plays Azir or Gnar or Udyr support that's fine, but you'll be gold-starved on a carry- or gold dependent- champions that won't do well with the 3 starting gold items or just a sighstone and Mobis all game. I'm really tired of seeing this shit in Solo Queue. If you want to play support, do realize you're not just affecting your lane experience, but the ADC's as well.
