I didnt ward as much as i shouldve, i didnt ping MIA as much as i shouldve, i played extremely risky and stupid against fed teammates

At the end i got carried and we won. I managed to make some nice yellow cards but at the end they had a riven person flaming everyone so we won.

There was pain in my heart when I read this, but it became pain from hearing you had to play TF against Lissandra instead of pain that you fed. Nobody deserves to lane against her.

My one ranked game was after they removed Team builder, they swapped normal draft with ranked draft on the list. I queued in not realizing. My duo queue partner didn't catch it either (neither of us play ranked). We decided to screw around with off-meta nonsense. A teammate flips out about us costing her the game. We both dismiss it. End of game screen: "9 provisional matches remaining."

I noticed Riot did it again after returning Solo queue. That trick only works once, Riot. Stop trying to force people into ranked.

I did that last season with Tahm Kench support. I realized it was ranked about halfway through when someone on the enemy team taunted about a promotion series. I kept quiet, hoping that I wouldn't derail our morale.

So I go into a normal game next game. My team's having fun chatting, and the following conversation occurs.

I had a somewhat similar situation. One of my low Bronze friends invited me to a game and I joined without realizing it was ranked.

Mistake #1: Not explicitly asking for mid or top. I can play support decently but my mid and top are better, but I got thrust into playing support and I was just like, "Okay well it's a normal draft game, I won't be a jerk to my friend's friends." (We were a 5 man premade with no voice chat. Great - a MMR handicap!) Mistake #2: Playing Annie. Out of the four supports I owned, Sona, Leona, Alistar, and Annie, I didn't have Mastery 5 on Annie. So I decided to play Annie, since I need Mastery 5 on all my champions and it's only a normals game. Mistake #3: Letting my bottom laner choose Teemo ADC after hovering it. As I said previously, I was in a five-man premade and I knew only one of the guys, so I didn't really feel like confronting a stranger about his odd pick in a normal draft game. I was like, "It's cool, he can play what he wants. Teemo ADC isn't that bad," and my teammates were all saying "please dont teemo adc" and "noo dont do it." He listens to me and stays on Teemo ADC. Mistake #4: Not playing safely enough. I make a bad decision and the Blitzcrank takes advantage of it, killing me. Mistake #5: Taking a phone call during the game. If it was a ranked game I would have been like, "Screw the phone, I need this win" but I was like, "Well, since it's a normals game and it doesn't look like we're gonna win anyways as of now, I'm just gonna play with one hand and hold the phone with the other. Maybe it's important." Turns out it's my dad and he's just checking up on us while at work, but the call takes about two minutes. I get hooked and die during the call because I can't flash.

About halfway through the game I say "dw, it's only a normal" to my tilted teammate and I get told "no" "ranked game." Oh god... this is my first provisional of the season.

We lose super hard, and I'm pissed off for the rest of the day and the day after.

Oh my god this happened to me once. I queued up to practice Ryze and our Lee was like super on my case and I couldn't figure out why. It wasn't not until that I said I was just practicing Ryze that our Ashe said people like me really should not play Ranked and it all made so much sense. I felt to so horrible because I fed the Irelia like 5 kills in lane and she basically carried the enemy. Once I explained they were actually cool about it though, if I had the wallet I'd have gifted them all a skin.

yeah I did it once last season as kayle. I never played kayle and I thought it was a normal game. and apparently it was ranked I lost becasue I fed. I apologized. did not know it was a ranked game.

That's just how Twisted Fate is. As long as you can land some gold cards, and build some damage, it doesn't matter how much you die early. You WILL win more often than you lose and rise in MMR.

It happened to me that a friend asked me to play in a ranked game, but I thought it was Normals. I played 1st time Sion, with some lag and swapped lanes for the first time ever. We eventually won but I was surprised nontheless

Never feel bad about those games, be grateful as those are the games you shouldn't of won lol. Also just remember if people are playing bad on your team you just gotta carry them and not flame. The riven flamed and lost rather than just trying to carrying, lastly congrats enjoy plat my friend.
