Caitlyn is really popular, why not use Tristana to counter?
She's a stronger teamfighter than Lucian but also can all in Cait and out dmg her by ~lvl 3.

I'm pretty sure most games these days don't last long enough for Tristana to actually outscale Caitlyn.
she takes quite a bit of poke before hand, trist needs to outscale her but if cait has her passive ready its going to be bloody regardless if trist "counters" her, not as safe as a bet as you think.
IMO the best adc to pick into cait is sivir, as always. but that assumes she shows first.
You don't take a scaling champion with scaling range and weak early against Cait.
Tristana gets slapped by Cait, Ashe is your best bet
Does she? I guess I thought Tristana had a crap early game, and an comparable late game to Caitlyn with Caitlyn E and Tristana R performing similar functions. I'm just a support main though, and I haven't had the chance to see the Tristana vs Caitlyn matchup in a long time.
