I now understand why riot doesn't put gamemodes forever and why URF was changed to ARURF

I always hated the fact they did this,i just couldn't understand why they do that when everyone likes it??

But i do now,i watched a bunnyfufuu video from nexus blitz just to kind of relax and he was explaining what to do in nexus blitz to be ahead and then i realized.I used to play nexus blitz for the items and just to try something new and have fun WITHOUT any need to be competitive. But for how long this gamemode is staying people are making tactics to win games. In jungle if you drag raptors and wolves you can actually do them both and wolf explosion is killing almost everything,i tried this once and my teammate showed me this, when we finished all camps they were just going up towards raptors,we get a double kill and it is all starting to snowball from there. Its a good tactic and all that but..I came to have fun and relax not to be competitive and play fast.

Shortened version-With how long nexus blitz is going to be people will develop game winning tactics where if you dont use them you will definitely lose and not have a good time

The majority of Nexus Blitz & Urf games have been fun and not serious for me. IMO and the majority opinion seems to be that Urf with Bans is the way to go to keep Zed & Karthus out of the game. I've seen a lot of champion diversity in both Nexus Blitz and Urf as well so I honestly don't see the issue you're referring to. Yeah Every so often you got the tank maoki on the enemy team splitpushing to win the game but like whatever. That guy won't be doing that every game cause they will realize how boring that is eventually. And even if you get like 2 tryhards on one team, usually the 3 other players will be either trying something new or just chillin, so you always have someone that will play that way. I don't see a reason to restrict URF to ARURF. To me its like saying "If a few people don't want to have fun than NO ONE will have fun". And besides there's not a single mode in league that lacks this kind of want to win from players which leads to tactics and less champion diversity. Even in, Norms in both Summoners RIft and Twisted Treeline, people still play meta builds, the top champions, and use popular, game-winning tactics.

This is the nature of gamers. It's not just about being competitive.

Min-max strategies have existed for as long as games have existed. Players want to be the best and their games. League just happens to be a PvP game, and a very competitive one at that. Min-max strategies or, how we call them around here, META, will always exist as long as there's competition.

You can't even have "fun" in Co-Op unless you play with a premade party.
