Lucian is almost in every game if he's not banned, playing vs him is not fun at all, in lane you cant do much again him and out of lane either, he is just too strong.

These are some of my latest ranked games, Lucian is picked in fucking all of them and excluding my Lucian games since I havent practised much with him and I'm still not decent enough on the champion every other Lucian games he either wins or even if he loses he still deals massive amounts of dmg and has consistently good kdas. Fuck the sinergy the champion has with that braindead bork, BC, tabi, PD build, Lucian is in every goddamned game and he is VERY unfun and annoying to play against.

He's p useless in high elo though because everyone can play around his E range and just outscale him(This isn't me saying this, this is what i've heard from high elo streamers)

Except he terrorizes high elo now too. Idk if his buffs have much to do with it, but if he gets going even slightly he goes hard. He's simply not the most fun to play vs

Eh, i'd much rather play against him than a tristana or ezreal tbh. You can at least punish him if he mispositions in fights or in lane because his E is pretty short ranged and can be interrupted.

Tristana depends on the meta for me, and honestly if Kleptomancy/Season 8/Season 7 damage buffs never happened, I would gladly take Ezreal over Lucian any day.

Lucian just has never been fun for me to play against whenever he's playable/meta, especially in an engage/bot lane kill lane meta like this one.

At least we'll be able to take some armor / MR in our runes in season 9.

I'll probably end up running AD or AS with Armor and MR as my stat choices for most ADC's I play, unless it's a super easy lane then I'll go full offense.

He is easy to shutdown for other lanes

He isn't that oppressive

100 times better than Caitlyn Xayah Vayne Tristana metas

He can't 2v5 with his support

in the meta where everyone goes bot lane , Lucian is a good pick to avoid feeding

not a hyper aoe carry

I just hope Lucian stays meta forever , no matter how BS you call him , he is never BS as much as the mentioned ad carries .

Lucian is definitely more oppressive than all of them. Gank Cait once and she's out of the game and not still able to oneshot your ADC. Sure she's not fun to play vs, but I'll take her over Lucian.

Xayah has more counterplay than all the others listed. And she doesn't have a dash to make up for her low range like Lucian or Vayne. Easy to bully. Has to scale.

Vayne has a nonexistent early game unless you play into her really badly.

Trist is easy to zone off of waves and easy to bully, but she has good all-ins.

Hmm ? I mentioned those champion in their metas , not current one , I know they are more fair right now , but before the ad items change , they weren't also , let's see , Cait can run ganks better Lucian btw , her E dashes her behind in a longer range than Lucian E to run a gank and it also slows the enemy and gives her a headshot , also she has her traps , easy to shut down ? she used to get her items and 2 shoot you with headshots or aa forever from a long range Vayne ? her early game depends on her support more than her , and she was so disgusting after 1 item Tristana ? do we really have to talk about this one? she can knock you away and her w jump can't be cancelled Xayah ? she Q AA E to root the enemy who ganks her and run gank safely , even if you can outplay her with champions like Ezreal , the fact she zoned your whole team with her feathers won't change , and actually she doesn't even need to recall her feathers when she gets items

Their metas were far more bearable in my opinion mostly because the metas were different. If Cait is meta, Ashe is playable into her. Supports are usually not the hyper engage kind and there aren't many assassins (aka not this meta). In other words, the game is generally more fun for me.

Xayah hasn't been around as long, but she's never really been the center of any meta, so it's kinda hard to speak on her. She fits into AD caster marksmen and hypercarries, but she's not as much of a pain in the ass when she's good, but she's scary.

For Vayne it depends on why she's meta, similar to Kog.

If they're meta because they can skate by the lane phase for free and hit an early late game state (like kassadin now) then fuck that shit. If they're meta because late game protect adc comps are common, I'm all for that because you have time to shut them down. Tristana is on this boat as well.

Ardent meta was cancer but at least people got to play the game (until the ADC hit 3 items).

Lucian metas are usually snowball metas. Especially this one. If he's playing the game and doing well, then someone more than likely doesn't get to play. And with all this engage bot lane, that can happen as early as level 2, since it's so easy to chunk/get chunked out of lane nowadays.

Honestly, idc about the "hey i'm an adc with a bruiser's build but that's fine because my passive/mobility will cover the lack of crit". What i care the most about is his ultimate. The damage is just either bonkers or mediocre - when he is behind, but it doesn't justify the fact that it offers so much objective control and siege pressure.
